okay so right now, im 5'2-3
im 106lbs.
And this is gonna be my diet schedule for the rest of the summer.
Not really a schedule, just a to do list.

Eat breakfast ( stay away from greasy foods )
Then for snacks I eat fruits or crackers.
Then I eat a small lunch, watch the calories.
Then I do 40 minutes of yoga at the yoga place.
Walk the dog around 3 times.
Eat dinner BEFORE 6:00 PM. NOLATER. and only till I am full.
Then I stretch.
If I am hungry then I eat fruits to maitain sugarss.

sound god?

Are you trying to lose weight ? How much ? Or just want to tone up ?
Your plan sounds good to me.. Although I think you can afford to eat after 6pm. Maybe not after 8-9pm for healthy habits. If you follow witih all that exercise everyday then I'm sure you'll get results although the hard part is sticking to it lol. I struggle too.

xD i'm 5'3" and weigh 132lbs
xD i really really wanna lose weight at my thighs, butt and tummy... any one have any good recommedations as to how?
this summer i plan to go downstairs (it's like a mini gym)
and go on the treadmill for 20-30mins a day
also i plan to do sit ups in sets of 50 morning. afternoon and before i go to bed.
i've cut off on coke and unnecessary sugars.
i've also reduced how much i've eaten to till i feel satisfied instead of full.
>< but i eat dinner really late.. usually around 9 or 9:30pm and that can't be changed.
i'm hoping to go down to 110lbs - 120lbs

what do u think i can do to really lose all that weight but in a healthy manner?

since winter i've gained... 10lbs o.o;
at first i gained 5lbs cuz.. maybe i came out of hibernation? sweatingbullets.gif but then i gained another 5lbs cuz my parents told me i should gain some weight if i wanna grow taller but now i seriously regret that because my stomach has grown ohmy.gif haha yah.

So currently i'm at 115lbs @ 5"3 ==; good news is that i've grown like 1/3 of an inch tongue.gif but now summer's here and i wanna get it off.

About how many times a week should i do my treadmill?
I do a really fast briskwalk at about 30 mins at a time; 1-3 times a week ^^;; but now that summer's out i can concentrate on losing weight more ^^ advice appreciated.
(briskwalk = my treadmill has 10 general speed levels; i go at 7.4)

I was wondering if it was possible to lose fifteen pounds by July 22nd. I made a bet with a friend of mine lol. I'm a guy and I weigh about 160. I'm 5"7. So I'm not really really fat, but I still think I am. I was thinking about jogging, playing tennis, and using free weights. Plus eliminating all junk foods with fruit.

Any help? And does anyone have the link for those stick figure diagram ab exercises?

it's really easy to lose weight if you have the determination and motivation for it.. Last summer i was 118 lbs and i'm only 5 feet so yeah..i'm sorta chubby. I didnt have any confidence and i also have low self esteem, so i decided to do something about it. What i did is eat less, stop all junk food and run on the treadmill 20 mins a day. After 1 month and a half, i drop down to 107 lbs. Then i sorta got lazyyy and stop my diet for awhile.. Just this year, i got even more self conscious about my looks, so i resume my diet routine and now i'm 102 lbs (actually, i was 100 lbs 2 weeks ago, but lately there's too much events going on that require me to eat at restaurants..)... I plan to even lose more weight, and my goal is 95 lbs. I'm not fat or anything right now, i just want to be like skinny and perfect >< Come back to this thread, i'll post my before and after pictures, and hahahah, beleive me, it wil give you lots of inpsirations <3
Just remember: DONT PIG OUT AND EXCERCISE!

Non-stop jogging? How much distance do you jog ?
Are you sure you're eating okay/healthy ?

Maybe the scale isn't right. Well if the scale doesn't show it, surely you feel a difference with your body and mind. I've been exercising recently and although the scale didn't change much, my body feels and looks a little different so I KNOW I'm doing something right.

Yea, non stop walking. I ate a lot of fruits n i'm trying to drink at least 2l of water every day.
Today i just walked half an hour because i had no time to actually go jogging...i think i'll do some rope skipping today. so for this week i jogged like every 2nd day yet...
i dont know feel anythin...i mean, my feelings depend on what i can see of myself n it doesnt look different so i'm not feeling different either....

Everyone seems to have similar questions.

I think something is better than nothing so doing any amount of cardio is good for you. Assuming you're not an absolute slug I would say you should shoot for 3-4 times a week of 20-40 minutes each time. For those 20-40 minutes you should be pushing yourself. I've seen lot of people on an exercise bike reading a magazine hardly pedaling at all.

Keep in mind that your body will adapt to your work out after a while so you'll need to change it up to shock your body to change. Up your intensity or change which exercises you do.

Like I told someone else your abs are like any other muscle and you can over work them. Doing crunches multiple times a day or everyday is probably going to over work them and you'll get diminishing returns.

Diet is like 80% of losing weight. Without changing your diet it's going to be very tough for your body to lose weight. I've done lots of different workouts and I never saw as much change in my body until I changed what I ate. It's been night and day. I lost most of my love handles and my face is thinner.

You need to create a 500 calorie deficit each day to lose one pound a week. That doesn't mean starve yourself but it does mean that you need to make better food choices.

i know this girl who stopped eating after 2PM and she lost like 30lbs during the summer. You can barely recognize her but i find it kinda sad since after 2...her metabolism is like an automatic shut off switch. I asked her to put some excercise in her day but she said she's too lazy sweatingbullets.gif. As for me, I didn't gain any weight, i actually lost some throughout the year. I started as like 120-130ish (i didn't like the scale and it didn't like me). Then i started dieting by watching what i eat and once in a while i excercise if i have time! and i'm at 106. I still feel the same tho... mellow.gif

Its so hot in the summer that I just feel like sitting with a fan w/ ice cream all day so iono what will happen to me later lol.

the biggest thing is to eat good quality, healthy food ... i eat atleast 5 peaches a day and i love them!! i always feel full afterwards so i don't have to go get a bag of chips for a snack or something crazy.gif

get atleast 8 hrs of sleep ... and stress makes you gain weight! relax!!

oh yea and i have this 8week exersice plan that i got from a fitness magazine (ok i stole it from my dentist's office >_<) and it says that you could lose up to 16 pounds! O_O and the best part of all is that it's just walking!! you start from 30 min everyday to an hour 4 times a week. at first i was like, "this is easyy." but i walked for thirty minutes and it really starts to burn your legs! plus walking is one of the best exercises you can do. so if anyone wants to see it, pm me (:

oh yea and to cakesniffer ...

i read in fitness.com that when you lose weight, you lose fat but also muscle ... and when you gain some of that weight back (85% of all people on a diet do), you only gain back the fat so you've just gotten rid of the muscle *-* so you have to tone up while losing the weight to gain muscle tone. and muscles help burn calories more so more muscle = losing weight! biggrin.gif
