Wow I feel bad for all the crewmembers, they get no sleep at all. I don’t get how the media can make up reports that Leehom visits Shu Qi if he rarely has time to even sleep 45 minutes a day.

Lee Ang Asks Leehom to Go on A Diet

Leehom was always skinny, even as a child. However his lowest point was during 2000/early 2001. During this year he was barely 60 kg (130 lbs), which is quite a feat considering his 180 CM frame. That year he had gone through a lot of stress including continuous days of no sleep in order to film his movie China Strike Force, creating his Wei Yi album, and receiving his Masters Degree. However, much of his stress was attributed to his breakup with his girlfriend. His girlfriend left him after a 5-year relationship.

Luckily in the last few years Leehom has gained a few healthy pounds. Leehom loves to eat, but never gains weight so Sony BMG had a period in which they only allowed Leehom to eat protein and meat so that he would gain weight. And in recent years he is reported to be a fit 68 kg (149lbs). Yet for his new Ang Lee film, Ang Lee requested Leehom not only to learn to write with his right hand (Leehom is left handed) and attend 9-hour Chinese history classes, he also asked Leehom to go on a diet. Since the movie takes place in the WW II era, all the actors/actresses are expected to be extremely skinny because at the time there was a shortage of food. Lee Ang wants Leehom to look “starving.”

All the cast and crew have been asked to lose at least 5 kg to achieve the “starving” look.
The crew are already on their way to losing the weight because these days they are extremely tired and are working endless hours. They barely have time to eat or sleep. Ang Lee and cast are currently filming in Hong Kong at Hong Kong University. The crew and cast work clock round, as Ang Lee tries his best to make another prefect film.

It is reported that Leehom sleeps on an average of 45 minutes a day. At times he takes naps during breaks. Many fans who have visited his shooting location have reported that Leehomthough tired is still cheerful upon seeing them.

Love LeeHom . I knew about him quite awhile ago but didn't realli get into him until recently. I watched his Heros of the Earth Concert in Taipei one on DVD and loved him even more!!! He is so TALENTED and HOT!!! Plus he speaks perfect english with no accent and he knows chinese and he seems so sweet and funny(lame) and smart. What more could a girl ask for?

A few people in previous posts had entries LeeHom wrote in a diary thing or something? Does anyone know the website for that? I'd really like to read it.

Dude poor Leehom. He works so much he's already lost over 10 pounds, so he's only like 130 pounds now. That's not healthy for his height. He's such a hard worker, I totally respect his work ethics, but sometimes I worry about his health because he is such a workaholic.



Fans Complain: LEEHOM IS TOO SKINNY!!! Let him Rest



Yesterday was Wang Leehom’s Singapore leg of his “Heroes of Earth Concert.” He performed energetically to a full house at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Leehom joked with his fans, “I’ve been filming for the past month. My character is extremely old fashioned, so I haven’t done any singing or anything remotely hiphop-ish, so I’m going to need everyone’s help to sing with me!” Even with this said, Leehom still performed with a perfect pitch, his grandeur voice echoing for all to admire within the stadium.

Many fans praised Leehom’s energy, Kai See, 18, commented, “At times it looked like Leehom was going to collapse from exhaustion, but he kept on going, and he gave us so much enthusiasm.” It is quite a miracle that Leehom was able to put on such a show, because lately he has had a packed schedule of work, work, work. Right after the concert, Leehom didn’t sleep and jetted back to Hong Kong to continue filming.

Concerned fans noted Leehom’s apparent weight loss and were worried with his current state of health. He has already shed over 10 pounds. Linda Tsui, 24, was taken aback by Leehom’s current state, “I read in the news that he lost weight, but he looks so much skinnier in person than he does in the news reports. He's looks so empty. I hope he takes care of his health and sleeps!” Leehom comforted his fans about his sudden weight loss, “Don’t worry, I don’t have a weird eating disorder or anything, I just need to get into the role of my character. After the movie is done, I promise I will eat and sleep more, after all I love to eat and sleep.”

“Lust, Caution” is scheduled to finish shooting in January, so from now until then Leehom has to continue to work. Lee Ang has so far given Leehom 2 vacation days. The first of which Leehom didn’t rest but instead flew to Singapore to thank his fans for their support, he stayed in Singapore for 6 hours and flew back to Hong Kong. The 2nd was for this concert, Leehom performed and after performing he flew back to Hong Kong without sleep.

Fans who visited the "Lust Caution" set in Hong Kong say that the cast rarely sleeps nowadays. Although Leehom has a hotel room in Hong Kong, he hasn’t returned to his hotel in a considerable amount of time. Most of the time he stays on set all through the night and takes small naps between takes.

^LOL, yeah he's such a hard worker. But that's what I admire about him, his determination and passion for his work.

Okay, I got some good news.

The staff at Homeboy Studios Inc. e-mailed me back. They told me Leehom will be coming to Mohegan Sun on February 24 & 25 (SUN). I think he's doing the 2am/2pm shows like all other artists who goes to Mohegan Sun or Foxwoods.

They also told me that Sony BMG is putting together a West Coast concert in 2007.
I didn't hear anything about him going to Canada, though I hope he would. I'd keep you all updated about when the tickets will be on sale, etc.

I've attended his recent concert too. Poor boy. Had to fly from straight from Shanghai after filming. And he flew back like, almost immediately after the concert.

The concert ended about 11.00pm (Singapore Time).
And considering the fact there's an after-concert celebration party, he went back to the hotel about 2am i think.

He'd probably took a bath or something and then head for his flight to Hong Kong at 5.00AM (Singapore Time).

I really really feel for him man. He is sucha hardworking person.
