Im a bit grumbly right now and its all a result of taking too long to choose my major.
Lets just say I was really efficient in the last two years and finished too many GEs and too few math classes to be prepared properly.

rolleyes.gif yah those who knew exactly what they wanted to do in life can yell at me all they like. If I just went for what I enjoy the most (computers, but not CS I despise programming) I just didn't think it would be a wise major to choose and wanted to avoid that concept for other things I might like.

So how do I pay the price for it? I have very few options in choosing classes that would apply to the major and most of them would be a pain to try for many at once if I could take several at once.

Right now im cussing my physics book out for being so difficult to understand while I look at my calculus book and wish I had taken it sooner so I could take other classes and actually understand the stupid physics book. blink.gif who knew they could make physics less enjoyable than it was in highschool

happy.gif anyways anyone else do that or is the majority of the people dedicated goal setters who knew exactly what they wanted and if what they wanted wasn't financially logical chose something that was more difficult and just took it on.

i went from a business major to an urban regional studies/developer to a Communications & the Arts Major and business minor, and i am enjoying my 5th semester! hmmmm...advice to get into your classes if you finally pick your major is go to the registration office and have them kick non majors out of the classes and add you in, thats what i did and i am happy, taking all my majors related classes this semester and one gen. ed. tongue.gif

I have too many GE units and REALLY have to choose between English, History, and linguistics now. English + Linguistics or History + Linguistics. There's so much that I want to study but because I already have so many units, they want to get rid of me in another four semesters. Yikes. That doesn't leave any room for electives. That's the price I'm paying for switching majors too much.
I love me alot, alot, so you should all love me alot, alot, too!

i'm basically in the same boat as you. i was prepharm for 2 years then decided to change to CS AND leave the school. now i'm in community college for a year and hope to transfer by next fall to a public school. i tried to take the 2nd physics class in the sequence since i took a physics class at my old school only to find out today that that class doesn't fulfill the one i need to take here and now i can't add anymore so i'm having a pretty bad day. i wish i took calc earlier too so i could understand physics now but i'm only in calc 1 too =/

Hahaha. I didn't even notice the post date. I changed my major from biology to nursing when I was a sophomore. After taking two years of nursing classes, I decided to change my major to chem-premed. crazy.gif All my friends are graduating next year and applying to med school already, while I still have about 2 more years to go. sad.gif
