Alright, so it's the beginning of March, and it seriously looks like some crappy movies have been coming out. I haven't seen one 2006 film so far, and I haven't been to the movies in over a month. This is bad.

Fortunately V for Vendetta is coming out in a couple weeks, and that looks like it could be really fun, and I've been looking forward to seeing it. Although most the films i'm looking forwar to seeing come out later this year.

Other films I'm anticipating:

Brick - The trailer is awesome, go watch it. Now.
Southland Tales - Richard Kelly's new film. I love Donnie Darko, and this sounds really good.
Grindhouse - A film made up of 2 hour long horror films from 2 of my favorite directors, Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez. Oh yeah.
X-Men 3 - .... I love X-Men
Sympathy for Lady Vengeance - I love, love, love Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance and Oldboy. I'm expecting i'll love this just as much.
Lady in the Water - M. Night Shyamalan's new film. ...He's my favorite director.
Clerks II - Kevin Smith owns. Clerks owns. This is gonna own.

Lake House: I love Il Mare so I'm waiting for this one.

When I saw previews for Lady in the Water, it creeped me out; that's probably what he wanted to too. It didn't seem like something scary until his name popped up and then that thing at the end with the person moving in the water. Freaky.

I don't really know what's opening this year, but these are the movies I'll definitely catch when they come out (this year or otherwise):

Ah, right, I forgot about the next Pirates of the Caribbean movie. That should be some good fun.

I'll probably go see the Da Vinci Code as well, the trailer was good, even if it was a little dramatic.

Mission Impossible 3 should be good too. Tom Cruise has gotten a little crazy, but I can't wait to see Philip Seymour Hoffman as a bad guy. I wanna see Miami Vice too. I never watched the show, but Michael Mann is a good director and you know.. Colin Farrell
