i agree with this! a couple years ago my list in this thread would have been sooooo long but with my last bf i became a lot more open minded. at first i thought no way i could ever see him as more than a friend. he was shorter than me, scrawny, no style, bad manners, cheap, really nerdy, etc. but when i was going through a rough time he was there for me i was really touched by how much he loved me so i decided to forget my list of what makes a perfect boyfriend and date him and was very happy, even though we moved away & broke up we're still good friends. now i check out a lot of different types of guys who before i wouldn't have given a second look at. variety is the spice of life~

however the few basic 'musts' that i have are:
- no bad hygiene. ew
- no racism/homophobia/prejudice/etc
- i hate when guys use the b word & slut etc to describe women. even when they use it jokingly it just turns me off
- bad kisser. ugh nothing is worse than having a great date then he kisses you and its a mess

Can't start a convo - All of the guys I met can't seem to start a convo. I had to do ALL the talking and ask "How bout you?". They'll answer back in few words and it's quiet again. Gosh, these kinda people are really really getting on my nerves.

Spit on the ground in front of people - Major disgusting but most guys do this. I don't know why. I guess they feel it's more convenient. Yeah, just wait until you sit on someone else's spit.
