Shucks, it seems like a lot of people that responded to this have such high standards.
Theres no such thing as a perfect person and I kind of like it that way, it keeps the relationship interesting, as long as they truly do love me and I don't have to remind myself that I am happy with them, then I'm set.
But my turn off are pretty obvious ones.
1. I can't stand PEOPLE with no sense of humor so I definately wouldn't like my lover to be that way.
2. Selfish to a point where it's rude.
3. And just ignorant/stubborn people that are used to getting their way. Love is about compromise so that's important.

So a while back when I took this girl out to dinner... there were some weird things going on that definately contributed to not following up:

- She got mad at me for not ordering her food for her
- She was chewing with her mouth open .. every bite

I .. was shocked.. she was normally really composed and that was like the third time I'd been out with her. (Previous occasions didn't include dinner)

Ah the chewing thing is definitely a turn-off for me, but it's not a deal breaker.
A deal breaker for me is a guy that talks ghetto and acts like a gangster. Ugh, it annoys me to no end.

wow. i think one of the things that bugs me the most is when a guy doesn't clean up after himself. like, my ex, whenever i went over his house and we ate, i would get up to put like, the bowls and stuf away, but he would tell me to leave it on the table, it's fine. i was like uh..okay? gonna put it away later? he just laughed and said no, his grandma was gonna clean it for him. i was like, wtf no! i'll take it in! he'd be like, fine, but i'll just leave mine here. i would get pissed and just take his stuff and take it in, too. made me feel like his mother. jeebus. =_=

you need to seriously put a stop to his grandma putting things away for him. its obvious he's a male chauvinist. if you do not stop it now, he will become a tyrant and impossible to live with.

My boyfriend chews with his mouth open sometimes, but I jus remind him not to.
It bothers me, but it's not a ' deal breaker ' or anything.

He's also very sensitive sometimes which annoys the heck outta me.

No, I don't talk to them about it because I hate confrontations lol and it may be embarassing for him if I mention it so I kind of just stop talking to them afterwards. I don't notice many pet peeves until we go out in public.
