Is there any program you know of that could edit
a number of music files at a time?

I have quite a number of music files that I
would like to put on my portable music device.


FOR EXAMPLE (using Winamp):
5 of the songs are all by one artist. I must right-click
and select 'View File Info' for EACH of them. Then I
must enter the artist name for each file.


It seems hard to search up such a program on Google.

Please help

next time search for something like ID3 tag editor.

The GodFather takes a bit of getting used to at first but works quite well for changing ID3 tags.
I have also been told Itunes does that very well also... but im anti-itunes... so I haven't tried it.

Next time post in troubleshooting because this is a help question... I know its not troubleshooting but its a question and it goes there.

I also don't like iTunes

I've thought about whether this goes in Troubleshooting or here, (since yeah, it isn't really a problem). The way I saw it: it's a topic about recommended programs, so it might fit in Tech, rather than troubleshooting.
