Maybe some window tint and a sound system, but that's it.

Why would you want to do anything to a fine car. I mean, unless you feel like going the whole nine yards, keep it stock till something breaks.
Its a lancer, not an EVO

Congrats to a fine purchase. Ignore all the EVO remarks and just keep up all the maintenance work.
dude shut up ...
youre just jealous
evo is the best thing and she have the right to make her car looks like evo or some ralliart wannabe machine
anyway check out taiwan magazine called "OPTION" i saw some lancer converted to evo there
the front looks 100% same but the rear site is only about 90% which is the fuel hole part

a fine car meaning a perfectly running car. i agree with manlyman1337 on this one... there is no need to spend tons of money in aftermarket parts with minimal amounts of power in return. if one wanted to go through the modification route, one must research a good foundation to work on... and the lancer is not one. it's a good car to roll everyday, that's about it.
I just bought a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer ES yesterday.. for $11k including tax and fees and it had 27k miles on it.. so now just want opinions on what I should do with my car.. i want to hook it up a little bit.. I was thinking of maybe fog lights and maybe a spoiler.. adding some tint and maybe getting an intake/exhaust system?
an intake wouldn't hurt since it is the cheapest which will yield some power... but everything else, i wouldn't.

everyone has their own opinions and tastes. i agree with KeN VeRsUs RyU to leave the lancer as is. i personally think very very very very very very very few cars can pull off the "wannabe machine". (i dunno what they're called, so i'll quote it o_O). besides, with the money spent converting a lancer to an evo, might as well buy the evo instead.

unless there's a taiwanese version of option, i believe the option magazine is japanese.
