Baby VOX breaks up.

Baby VOX, after 7 years, will break up.

Baby VOX has met a substantial dissolution.

The most recent blow to Baby VOX has been Kan Miyoun leaving DR Music to sign a solo contract with H2 Entertainment.

The remaining member, Heejin, her feelings and actions will become known sooner or later, but it is possible she will follow Kim Eiji to her new agency.

Baby VOX started in 1999, with hits such as Get Up, Killer, Ooyon. Together with SES, Baby VOX became the face of kpop girl groups, the only difference between the two groups is that Baby VOX lasted 7 years.

Baby VOX confronted DR Music and has severed it's affiliation with them. But DR Music has plans to continue with foreign members, possibly at the end of the year.

The new Baby VOX would be focused on muti-nationality and comprised of talent from Japan, China and Taiwan. Auditions would be open to the public and the music style would be various.

Miyoun's new company, H2, has a lot of stars, models and CF stars.

After Baby VOX, Miyoun will release a solo album.

Previously a Baby VOX member, Miyoun signs a new, exclusive contract and will come out with solo activities.

Last October, Miyoun's contract with DR was over and she has now signed with H2 Entertainment. She is in the process of preparing a solo album.

H2 is planning activities and a transformation. Possible activities will occur in other asian countries, possibly China.

Because of this, Baby VOX, the member who remains, Heejin, will search thier feelings deeply and discuss the dissolution of Baby VOX. With Miyoun now gone from DR Music, DR Music is still looking to add a foreign member.

Kan Miyoun has left Baby VOX to go solo.

On March 8th, on ETN live news, it was talked about Miyoun going solo and preparing a solo album. Her contract with DR Music was over in October of 2005 and Miyoun has signed with H2 Entertainment. With members leaving Baby VOX, DR Music was unable to handle letting the members do solo activities and activities slowed down. Baby VOX will make a transformation, possibly from China.

From this, Baby VOX will break up. It was also said on the news about when Eiji left Baby VOX and how Heejin's plans will become known sooner or later. Kim Eiji has signed a contract and only Heejin's plans are open.

The new Baby VOX will have 5 members. Baby VOX 2 will include foreign members, aiming at Southeast Asia. The new Baby VOX should be revealed at the end of the year. Baby VOX 2 will deviate from the normal composition of 5 members from Korea. It will have 3 Koreans and 2 foreigners.

Having been an obssessed Baby VOX fan for quite a few years, this news is a huge blow... I was hoping that even after Eunhye and Eunjin left, Baby VOX would be able to make it somewhere as a trio but Kim Eiji left soon afterward to a new agency and an acting career.
Heartbreaking for me also is Miyoun's leave, she's my #1 singer and idol in the world, but I'm happy that she'll be returning to singing and putting out an album. She can count on me buying anything she releases.

I feel bad for Heejin though...She was one of the original members and now she's the only member left in DR. Props to her for sticking out the whole ride. ^^

On my final note...I HATE the proposition of the Baby VOX 2.
Miyoun, Eunjin, Eunhye, Heejin and Eiji are Baby VOX. They should at least come up with a new name for their band.

I believe BabyVox 2 is suppose to be all foreigners. I know some girl who was scouted to be part of BabyVox 2. She was suppose to be the "American" one (she's not Korean).

baby vox actually started when H.O.T started..1997..

they went through alot of break ups..

heejin and eiji are the originals~

their first album was HAIR CUT..

the sales were bad so three members quit and they recruited eunjin, miyoun, and another..

after their second album..that other member quit and they recruited Eunhye..

that's where they were at their peak of fame..

i've always admired them from their 'WHY' album.. 'YA YA YA' was a good song too..

but i guess..they have to do what they have to do~

the originals were always the best.. but i guess you gotta make space for new comers to the entertainment industry~

i'm not sure that there is only Heejin in DR Entertainment or not, but in my opnion, i think that Heejin should leave from DR same another members, anyways now have no news about Heejin's new agency and DR didn't told about her too ^^
