what do you guys think about this car?
i've always thought the subaru legacy is a great alternative for the camry and accord.
i think in terms of looks, the subaru is better. even the interior looks nicer than the camry and accord.
and 17" wheels come standard for the lowest model.

it's a nice car with a lot of zip, better than the accord i'd say.
0-60 sub 5, correct?

ive always liked the new legacies. but if you are into modding and all that, accord is much easier route.

Its got a much nicer look to it and I'd take it over the Accord anyday in terms of looks and performance. I'm just unsure of the overall quality and lasting quality.

That's quite true... even though Legacy is also made in USA just like Camry and Accord, it isn't discounted much.

You can buy a fully decked out Camry XLE v6 or Accord EX v6 for less than $25,000 w/o trying too hard. But comparable Legacy GT limited will go for at least 2 grands more. And in the long run, it will cost A LOT more to operate because of inferior reliability and steeper depreciation than Camry and Accord, not to mention the higher insurance premium you'll pay beause of the turbo engine...

the 2.5i model is $21,000 something MSRP, which is around the same for a camry and accord i think.
the 2.5i and the GT model is exactly the same in appearance, with 17" standard alloy wheels. but the 2.5i model lacks the center hole thing on the front hood.

yes, GT is the turbo model. The MSRP w/auto for GT limited is close to $29k. But if you haggle, you can probably find a deal for around $27k.

of course better than the Camry and Accord, comes more expensive too sad.gif
I like this car a lot too..28K but thats not even taxes in and all the optional stufff...like.. you don't even need 28K to get a Camry on the ground...

why not consider the 2.5i model instead of the gt model?
i mean, you cant really compare the gt model with a camry or accord.

I don't think you could get a V6 Accord with all options for 25k. I'm almost sure of it cause my friend got hookups from Honda, and he got a brand new accord, v6 with full options/navi for $25,000. He said that he was discounted about $5000. I would take the subaru over the accord anyday.

I loved the ride quality and power while I test drove this car. I loved everything about the new Legacy. 4 thumbs up for the new Legacys.
