Cannot log onto hotmail hacked?

For some reason I cannot access my email account (jeffdragon2k2@hotmail.com). Also, when I enter my password on MSN Messenger, it removes two letters from it making it impossible to log in. Does this mean someone has hacked my account? Please help ASAP

Sorry for double post but as an update my email has been inactive and whoever has control of it now isn't doing anything to any of my accounts on soompi and myspace. Still though, anyone have suggestions on what to do?
