i'm considering joining the navy.
say if i'm going to be a pharmacy tech in the navy.
how hard is it to finish my bachelor's degree?
and which major should i pick?
since most of the training i get in the navy transfers to college credits.
bio? chem? other?
do you think it's easier to apply to pharmacy school with experience in the navy as a pharmacy tech?

Are you enlisting into the Navy? Are you applying for the Naval Academy? Where exactly are you going to be in the Navy?

If you don't mind me asking, but what has your recruiter told you so far?

college credits can be transferred yes but that only means if you are stationed long enough to take classes in the near by area to transfer those credits. i don't think you can take classes while you're on the ship. my friend just started taking classes and it's his third year of duty in the navy.

i think it'll be a great experience to show what medicine is all about while you're travelling the world. you should major in chem or bio if you want to get into a pharm school with some knowledge.

the difficulty on getting your BA will depend on a lot of factors really because most got into the military and then still take college afterwards for a BA degree. so do some research and talk to some experienced people about it.

and recruiters will usually tell you things you want to hear. keep that in mind.
