My bro got into a minor slip and side and dented his hood (honda element). Everyone looked at the car before it went into the dealership. All it had was a dent on the hood, engine, windows, everything was fine. They told us that when they took it for a ride after fixing the dent they found something wrong with the engine, but when we asked them they wouldn't tell us. So we got the car back two months later (today) and I checked out the car for my bro and I sware it's the same exact engine. Still has the same old scratches from before, and it's all rusty like it's old. I don't think my word against theirs is worth it. I'm not thinking of starting anything, but has anyone been through anything like this before?

you people shouldnt be so quick to jump to conclusions. vompy obviously knows 0 about cars and barley gave us any useful information. just becuase something is wrong with the enigne doesnt mean they had to replace the engine. by law every shop has to get verbal confirmation before they can do any work on a vehicle. if you look on the work order it will have the date and time of which they talked to whoever ok'd the work. if that didnt happen then you can contact the main honda office and the b.b.b. i doubt that the dealer was racist....

^yup, but i think that the dealer should tell you whats wrong, briefly at least =.=
also, if your brother had a minor accident, all i can think of that can mess up the engine a little, is the radiator part... but then again i gotta see how bad the damage is...

well they cant work on the car unless you ok it. so they should have told them what was wrong then, if they didnt tell them they shouldnt have ok'd the work. since thats in the past just look at the work order and see what was done
