i would like to see a pic, any pic of anything by ur digi cam..
so that i can see the picture quality~
the reason for this is i'm planning to buy a digi cam~ smile.gif
when i see different photos that people post online, some of them would be nice and smooth, some of them would be clear but u could see a lot of flaws(?)
i do know that the higher the mega pixels is better, and some of the "nice" pictures that i see could have been touched by photoshop or image correction or whatnot.

btw-if u do post a pic, please remember to put the camera model number and mega pixel please! laugh.gif
Thanks!<3

THREAD CLOSED=)

The megapixel factor wont even matter unless you post full size photos at their original resolution right out of the camera. There are other factors like color reproduction and lighting which are just as important. If you're going to look at images that fit on your computer screen, you're hardly going to notice differences in detail between a 3 mp image and a 6 mp image. My point is a 5mp camera will produce the 5mp of resolution regardless of brand. Its the other factors which determine how accurate the photo is.

Original poster... I can see what you're trying to go after, but to make an accurate determination, you really need to have pictures of the same scene with diff cameras AND at their original resolution. I can easily reproduce images that look like the above with a cheaper and lower mp camera at the same sizes. I'm not saying the SD400 sucks (used to own it myself and I think its a great camera) but to do a comparison between cameras with images that small and with different images, it's completely innaccurate to judge the quality of a camera.
