Someone stop the guy, he's on fire!
Gee I was hoping Federer would get Roddick at Qatar, we haven't seen a Federer v Roddick match up since Miami last yr. And I love those, not just because Federer wins all the time.
Safin/Safina up for the Hopman Cup today against Italy, represented by Pennetta and Bolleli. Goodie...

Darn. I was so excited for the Safin/Safina team. I really love both of them. They played a great first set, but Safin really couldn't keep it up, could he? And how many times did he and Pennetta battle it out? xD Pennetta was great today.
And that forehand of Bolleli's...

For the Aussies in this thread, coverage of the Brisbane International starts tomorrow at 11:30 on Channel 7. I have a sudden newfound appreciation for free-to-air TV, I don't think we've ever had Brissie International covered.
Can't do math, but is the No 2 spot on the line next week? Coz I would actually rather Federer go into the AO as the No 3 seed. A choice of Rafa/Djoko for the semis seems easier than Murray/Djoko.
Hewitt/Dellacqua for Hopmans tomorrow. Dokic v Mauresmo first round at Brissie International!

I missed the singles matches today cause of work. I only managed to catch the mixed doubles match halfway into the first set. I'm glad I could watch most of it.
I'm actually looking forward to the Hewitt/Dellaqua match tomorrow.

And shock, horror, disgust, why is Nadal wearing sleeve and shorts for the Australian Open instead of his usual sleeveless and pirate shorts? What was Nike thinking? What next? A jacket for Wimbledon? The only thing more wrong is if Federer turned up in a sleeveless top. Blue and PINK?

Wow. Just wow. That looks so.. wrong? The colours... bleh. Didn't expect that one. I like his sleeveless tops, thank you.

Dokic actually had set points on Mauresmo, but she went down 67(9) 67(5), not bad for a first match back on the main tour.
Djokovic and Gulbis playing at Brissie today, do me a favour Ernie...

Anyway, watched the Hewitt match. Loved it. :D Though I was really enjoying the mixed doubles match when ABC news came on. D: Some really amusing tennis there.
And wow. USA goes down 0-3...
