I can't tell whos' going to win for the women's side. Fearless seems to always bet against Elena, but she's been steamrolling pretty much the whole tourny. I'm surprised how old she actually is... ^^; Serena has failed to impress me throughout this whole tourny. (I might be a tad biased on that one, lol, as I'm more a Venus fan... XD)
As for the Safina-Zvonareva one, if Safina's mind just doesn't go off to another world, I think she can do it. But Zvonareva's a solid player, imo, so she also has a good chance.

EDIT:
IT'S GOING TO BE A SERENA-DINARA FINAL!!! Ugh... Dinara's match wasn't very pretty. Many UE's again and the serve was shaky... She cannot play like this against Serena because now that Serena's in the finals, she's def. going to up her game. Besides, Serena has a tendency to win AO in the odd-numbered years. lol. '03, '05, and '07. SAFINA FTW!!!
EDIT 2:
Roger win in straight sets! COME ON ROGER! AO 09 has got to be your's!

No surprises--I guess the favorites stayed true to form.
I have to think you bet against Federer and Serena at your own peril. It's usually when you bet against them that they end up winning! lol. Anyhow, now that we're in the final, I don't care about any rational analysis and will blindly cheer for my favorites. Go Fed and Serena!

And I was so happy Roger got through in straight sets. He had twice as many aces as Roddick, but I guess I shouldn't have been so surprised because Roger's percentage of returns weren't bad at all. That and he was probably really used to Roddick's game, seeing that they have met 17 times previously. ^_______^ I loved his passing slice shot during the 2nd set, I think it was? I seriously thought it'd go out, but it stayed a few inches inside the line! O__O
If Roger continues his form against the finalist, he'll def. win! I don't think it's too early to think that it's going to be a Roger-Rafa showdown on Sunday! How disappointed will fans be if it turns out to be Verdasco? I remember how disappointed many were when Murray got to the finals instead at USO last year. And Mr. Rod Laver is on Roger's side, apparently. That's gotta give him some form of motivation, no? lol.

This match has been AMAZING. Going into a fifth, now. And Verdasco looked so out of it at the end of the third.
Verdasco all the way.
And Safina FTW tomorrow, please!

edit.
OMG. RAFA WINS! verdasco double faulted twice in the last game T___T
6-7 6-4 7-6 6-7 6-4
i guess it's really a roger-rafa final as we were all expecting.
GO FEDDY!

So, another Roger - Rafa final. Excited but nervous about that one.
Federer, of course.

had me up on my feet screaming numerous times and i'm not a fan of either although i must say i will look onto fernando verdasco differently from now
how amazing was that match! The rallies were just so thrilling! rafa is such a great returner! And it was amusing seeing fernando blasting those FH to rafa like rafa usually does to his opponents
And the will and determination from both players were just amazing... *hats off*
how do u keep up that level of play and power and determination for 5 hrs
i thought that it was going to be over in 4 sets but fernando just upped it... that 4th set TB was something
crazy crazy crazy
o yeah the end was a bit anticlimax esp after he saved those 2 MP
what's with 2 double faults in the last game when he only had 4 in the whole match
and this roger rafa final
argh
i dont like it
CMON ROGER!!!!!!!
