YEAH FOR SERENA!!!!!!!! But man, I felt for Venus Serena was just the better player today and I'm glad she won it this year! I have a feeling she's going to win USO this year as well... heh. Can't wait for that! I'm so going this year!

AND... tomorrow is the day! lol. So nervous for Roger, but also excited because I think it's going to be a good one! Who'd a thought? I mean, I know a couple of us were wishing for a Roddick-Federer final, and we actually got it! I wasn't banking on it at first b/c I thought Rafa was good to go for sure. And then when it came down to Roddick-Murray, I really thought Murray was going to come out the winner... huh. But I was so happy for Roddick when he won. That little moment on the stairs that he had was... beautiful. lol. I can't even describe it. He was like, "I needed a moment to myself to take it all in." And when he said he thought he wouldn't have another chance at a grand slam final, it made me so sad for him! I'm glad he's having this chance, but at the same time, I really want Roger to win this. I don't take these things to heart, but this really pissed me off.

Good Luck Rodick you should be the one to win tommorow. Roger is all about feeling being praised instead of about the love for the game. I can see yours and Nadal's love for the game. You can know that Roger wants it to be all about him just by knowing that he refuses on having a coach like trying to prove a point, he is just annoying. Just playing your game that's enough to beat him. He is all talk no action.

To answer your question souslesun: normalcy in my tennis universe is VERY MUCH dependent on Federer winning Wimbledon. It's also dependent on Federer having close-but-no-cigar matches against guys like Roddick and Davydenko. Hope that normalcy isn't shattered tonight .... *fearful*
