With all of that said, Sharapova's draw just got a whole lot easier (on paper) so she might find herself deep in the tournament even with an on and off shoulder.

Actually I was trying to read up more on him after one of the TV commentators said he comes from a very wealthy family. Apparently his father is a millionaire (billionaire?) businessman........hmmm Ernests just got twice as attractive than before didn't he?

Yes indeed! His grandpa is a film legend in Latvia who apparently wisely invested his money. His mum's a famous actress. And his dad is a famous national basketball-player-turned-banker. So they're loaded, and Ernests is your typical trust fund kid.
*ahem* I know too much about this.

The men's side looks pretty good in terms of seeded players. Women's, not so much. Azarenka lost! O: Li Na's through to Round 4. (: So are Penetta & Zvonareva. And Marin served a couple of bagels to Levine.
Did any of you guys read about that Federer Look-A-Like? xD I don't think he looks like him at all besides the hair. Though he's got something if he gets himself into some tennis gear.

And hooray for Roger! I didn't get to see the match AT ALL, but oh well again... I'm kind of torn on who I want to win between Maria and Melanie Oudin actually.... Would love to see the young American, but freaking it's Maria on the other side of the net!

I have to admit, I honestly thought USO was going to be Andy's this year, but man! Kudos times infinity to John Isner! I hope he does well the rest of the tournament! haha

Sharapova's gotta do something about her serve. She's fine when she's not under pressure, but it just breaks down so freaktastically when she's being pushed, and she's not someone like Dementieva who can live with her serve being a mess. Once the serve goes, so does the rest of Sharpie's game.
Roger who? I hate that guy. Haven't seen him play this badly since Miami this year. Error after error after error. Ridonk.
