I'll always remember Agassi for his 8 grand slams, 60 titles and wonderful return game. But I'll remember his growth as a person most. He truly matured from a rash kid to an elder statesman. His foundation and school do a lot for the Las Vegas youth and surrounding communities. Agassi was a wonderful tennis player who gave us a ton of memories to ride off into the sunset with. But it's his heart, it's the type of person he eventually became that I'm most proud of.
Thanks for everything, Andre!

damn work
I'm taking a taxi to Kentucky where they don't even know all about me. I just need to feel s a f e.
I've got a thousand sweaters, and shoes, and paintings to hide the skeletons in my way.
But he said, "Slow down, slow down. Think it over, we've all got wretched closets, but silly girl pride kills more than Aids lately."
I said, "Come on, I thought it over. I don't wanna die here. I have no desire to get m♥rried."
Every night I pray for you, don't believe in heaven or that it could be a happy place.

I kinda expect him to lose because of his back pain. those cortisone shots starts to lose its effect on him(Before, He only needs those after 5-6 months, now he injects it on his body every 2 days). and he did not train that much before his match with becker because the doctor told him to not go out to the hotel. During his match with becker, There was a time when he can't move his back up right after he hit the serve. and he can't move his body that much compared with his first 2 matches in this year's US Open.
bye Andre, I will see you in the last day of the US Open(If ever there will be a farewell ceremony before the championship)

Oh man, I cried. Agassi's going to be missed. Actually, he's already missed. He's talented, classy, eloquent, and just such an inspiration. He will never be replaced.

Anyone see this shot?! My friends can do it, but not against HENMAN AT NET!!!
I like the way the commentator was like that's just rediculous. My partner and I tried to do it in a match when we were leading 5-1.. We missed all of em accept for 1... haha.

Below is a youtube video of Andre's final moments on the court, including his touching speech. Everytime I listen to his speech, it gets to me. If you ask me to sum up his career in one word, the word would be touching.

I finally get back to watching tennis again, and Andre retires...horrible timing
:edit:
ohmygosh...I'm in looooove
ok...not exactly lol...but Gasquet, dude
liked him before
but after that match with Hewitt...goshers!!
I had a feeling Hewitt would win, but I didn't expect Gasquet to turn up the heat the way he did
and his backhand is just so beautiful...I think I actually fell in love with his backhand first
ok...but, guilty as charged...a teeny tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiny bit of it is because he is pretty darn cute

I hate that I wasn't able to watch his last match and just seeing his pics from that last match and reading all those news about it, it gets me to tears that one of the tennis icon bids goodbye in tennis court.

O man ... sad ....
He fought through all the pain too. I felt bad when he started crying before the match ended (or it looked like it)
Either way, he'll be missed. He went from a 'badboy' to a hero to many.
