what in the holy hell just happened with Federer sad.gif now even Marat is out...I don't even want my tickets anymore. Not to take credit away from Canas though...

doubles strategy...poach poach poach for one thing and at that level, just go up the middle-- hell, going up the middle works at all levels. Not only does it cut off angles but it throws off your opponents as well

you can pretty much see all the specs at tennis-warehouse.com

the aero, pure drive, and pure team are more head light than the drive z--maneuverability that "players rackets" usually give--which is head heavy.

the aeropro has a pretty big headsize so I'm going to say that's to give you enough spin to counteract power that the thick frame and stringbed would be giving you

the pure drive is as it sounds--gives a lot of pop and power off the strings

pure team, more of control racket--has a tighter string pattern giving you more spin

but all in all, they all feel pretty similar depending on how you string them. It's more how you use the tool than the tool itself smile.gif hope that helps

^ thankss lol that cleared things up

i like power more and i like oversized heads

i narrowed it down to 5 racquets::
7 now ::

if anyone wants to you can give some suggestions on which to pick

of those, I'd suggest the Z-lite just because I've used it before (when I used to be with my ex). She plays div I college tennis with that racket now and if you hit the sweet spot, you can really get a feel for the ball and this thing can generate some massive spin. I normally use a prestige 600 but when I used her racket after breaking about 3 strings in a row (I'm very very reluctant to use other people's rackets b/c it screws my rhythm biggrin.gif but when I used it I wasn't disappointed), I felt like I was putting much much more topspin without changing anything at all. Volleys are pretty crisp and while touch might suffer a bit because it's head heavy and the frame is pretty thick, it's not that bad. The first two you listed there are actually pretty similar, but I've never played with the second one...so I guess it's which color you like better tongue.gif

well if your mom won't want to spend that 170$+ on a racket, you can also try

the liquidmetal instinct Link

the prince shark Link

the prince shark (long) Link

the dunlop m-fil 400 Link

the dunlop m-fil 300 Link

m-fil 200 Link

whenever you see rackets for example the prestige series: prestige600classic ~> intelligence prestige ~> liquidmetal prestige ~> flexpoint prestige

it's basically the same racket. Even the touring pros use the older models, just with paint over. Racket companies have to make money somehow ^__^

anyway, take a look at those too~

oh right, Vamos Rafa!, Haas, and Murray!

First match of the season tomorrow. Playing a school I've never heard of. Woohoooo.

Eh, I'm fourth on the team. First doubles...I wanted third and play singles. sad.gif But one of the girls isn't going to be there tomorrow, so I'll at least play singles tomorrow. Yaaaay.
Life is friggin' fantastic.

Hopefully Nadal's win at Indian Wells will get him back on track. I'm just glad he finally won something to give him confidence for the clay court season! Vamos Rafa! Good luck in Miami!

Really?! Sweet! Glad someone's representin' in the tennis world!
Too bad I don't really follow women's tennis as much as men's.
