He was awesome in last week's race.
My fav is Barrichello but recently he's been a disappointment.Tsk.i love him in the Ferrari team. Too bad he's in the Honda now. It's so wierd to see him in white.
And Massa is actually really good in the Ferrari team.
Rosberg is pretty good for a newcomer too.
i hope Kimi continues to stay with Mclaren, cause i heard his contract with Mclaren ends this year.? Not really sure though.

Yes, his contract, like Montoya's, ends this season and rumours abound that Raikkonen has already signed a deal with Ferrari for 2007. McLaren are hoping to keep Raikkonen, though I don't think he'll like playing second fiddle to Alonso once he arrives from Renault.
Must say the Renault 1-2 finish was quite impressive. Am happy for Fisichella, I think he deserves the win. I like Barrichello too, but he's not been able to do well so far. Hopefully he'll get his chance in the next few races.

i dont like montoya a single bit though
i like schumacher because of what he's achieved and the fact that he works on the car nearly as much as the mechanics/engineers (well he works with them to make the car better)
i dont like the fact that the engines are now V8's - ordinary cars have that much power

Ferrari always give their preferences to Schumacher and I hate their "first pilot tactic"! It was really unfair to give an order to Barrichello to step aside for the Schumacher's points on the last lap when he was leading the whole race in Spielberg (not only there but I don't remember where else).
My fave is Jacque Villeneuve since his debut in formula-1, but he can only turn me into depression with his results, so I'm supporting Kimi)

i didn't know Alonso is gonna join Mclaren in the next season! I never for once thought he will join Mclaren. Maybe Ferrari but never Mclaren. Interesting. In that case i wouldn't want Raikkonen to remain in Mclaren. But even if he joins Ferrari, he's gonna play second fiddle to Schumacher right? So, there's not much difference.

Oh i don’t like Montoya either.

ya i know! i was so pissed off!
I do like Micheal. However, in some of the races, Barrichello gave up his position to Schumi as it was the team orders. He did put up a fight and he didn’t give in. But the Ferrari team kept pushing him to give it up to Micheal. It really sucks to be in Barrichello's shoes, but it’s good that he’s a team player.

With that said, i must say that i hate Alonso. I believe that Kimi Raikkonnen is the most talented youngster in F1 and Nico Rosberg is not far behind. I also believe that Montoya can be reckless at times, but there is no better driver on cold tires.
WITH THAT SAID, i think that Ferrari don't have a hope in hell of beating Renault or McLaren with the current package they have. I wish they did, but Raikonnen's performance at Bahrain confirmed that Ferrari dont have it back together yet. (MS starts 14th and only finishes 6th at Malaysia) Will Ferrari win a race this season? Hopefully.
Will Ferrari or Schumacher be champions this season? We'll just have to wait and see... I don't think so, though.
Am I hoping for Ferrari to win? they have my full support.

okay, so maybe it was a little extreme for me to compare f1 cars to ordinary cars, but still, what i like best abiout f1 was the fact that there were people driving these machines that are beyong our grasp. many of us would never dream of being able to drive such cars... a little unrealistic maybe
the australian gp? i was heaps upset for button, imagine how he would've felt...just metres away with the finish line in sight!!
a question though: is it possible for a driver to push his car over the finish line?
so disappointed with ferarri this year. in previous years, ferarri was the only team that did well with bridgestones but seems like all the teams on michellen (sp?) come out on top

I really think that TV robs us of the true experience of F1. Nothing we see on the tele can portray the sheer acceleration of these machines. I've had the opportunity to see these things in action, (Indy 03') and I can say that there are no machines on this planet that brake as fast and can accelerate out of corners like F1 cars. Drag Cars? ofcourse they're faster in a straight line. But I'm talking about corner exists here. Its just breath taking.
Ohh and that thing Jeremy Clarkson said about the new "Bewgahtee Veyron" *as he says it* being faster than an F1 car is a load of rubbish.

The huge downforce of a F1 car will keep it to the ground anytime which will help in the handling but will lower the top speed, but this is F1. There aint many straights. Usually there is like 2 straights. The downforce also helps with overtsteer and some understeer. The cars are so hugged to the ground that it will not slide so turned into the corner and accelerating won't spin it out. But Traction Control also helps it not oversteer. Now why is traction control even in F1?

Enough with that, SCHUEY WON AT IMOLA TODAY!!!!! Yeah, i had to watch it on bloody CBS. But, i followed the live scoring on formula1.com. I must say, as a faithful tifosi, that is not how i would like us to win a race. We're accustomed to the dominance of pulling away and never looking back, today really had me at the edge of my seat. Good win, we tactically owned them today.
We better find out what happened to our tyres today. First stint: Great, Second stint: Rubbish, Third stint: Sod off! So i reckon we have some testing to do if we plan on even catching Renault at Nurburgring.
