i practically just bought a ps3 yesterday ( oh man have i been waiting to get one!) so far i got madden and nba 2k9 and was looking for a shooter i cant decide between cod5 thats coming out tomorrow or r2. any thoughts?

i wanted to get a dvd but it's a region 3 dvd, would we still be able to play it on the ps3? i've got the complete death note collection on blu ray and it plays fine but then again i did get it at an anime store around my area.

honestly id get both. but if you were to choose one it looks like my pick might have to go with COD5. i beat R2 within a day or so and i get connection problems trying to play online. i also heard that the 60 man online play isnt working as good as it suppose to. like its always uneven like 5v2. once R2 fixes their servers then it will be all good. i believe COD5 will have a stronger campaign and of course, if you like COD4 multiplayer then you will definitely like this one.

even when i try to just play a game it says that theres no games and also trying to find a game on a server list doesnt help either. i might go ahead and just try making a game and see what will happen.

btw, did anyone beat R2 yet? i kinda skipped the credits and wonder if you unlock anything. all i saw is that there was an arcade mode now.

when i played the first one, after a few levels i always had motion sickness and had to lie down

not sure if this is the right place, but my ps3 just stopped working yesterday. i put in a game and turned it on and the sony playstation sign would come on and nothing but the opening sound of ps3... like it was frozen. i tried many times to restart it, but still the same thing. i tried putting in a dvd workout video that i had used earlier and that too wouldn't work... if anyone knows what i can do please help... i have no idea what and why this happened...

how long has it been since u bought your ps3 and do u have warrenty on it. if u do take it to where ever you bought it from and say it wont turn and they should give u a new one. if not send it in to sony and i think the fee is like 60 dollars or something and they will fix it.

From playing the demo of CoD5 on 360, (i have both systems) it's pretty much CoD4 (which is a great freakin game) but with a new layout. So imo, not too impressed. Kind of sad that Treyarch couldnt do anything to differentiate itself. I mean they "stole" the CoD4 engine, but still they need to make their game different. So i'll wait till when the game goes down in price. As for the guy who said Cod5 or R2, get R2 if you've already played Cod4. If not, then your real decision is Cod4 or R2.

The more recent game i got is Valkyria Chronicles. The game is the sheet. New type of gameplay which is done superbly well, it's actually storyline driven, awesome art style. Definitely worth picking up.
