I haven't used my PS3 for a while..last game I got was Fat Princess... Saw that XBOX had the Lost Planet 2 Demo..looks super fun... Why didn't SONY give us a demo as well? -,-

fat princess started giving me a headache. most of the matches went on forever. upgrading things take forever. i recently beat the batman dark asylum game. totally worth the money.

Im getting my hands on a slim on christmas , since i read some reports , they are hiding a second slim model that will have 250 gb and some more features . So ill wait till then haha .

hmm i don't know... i mean making it smaller doesn't make it better since these machines are very complicated so you want to have good cooling system and making it smaller/compact make IT more complicated, but i am pretty sure sony already thought about that right? =]

I just bought the slim. It seems to work perfectly fine without any cooling problems. But... it did freeze on it's first turn-on.

Yes , from what ive seen and read , the slim doesnt have cooling problems like the ps2 slim .
Also you guys checked the last news?

Seems the new 3.0 firmware , is giving lots of people problems from freezing's, sound and controller malfunctions . Anyone suffering from this?

I just got the ps3 slim a few days ago its $500 AUD over here and now the old ps3 80gb is the same price LOL

Its really good the games load much faster and nothing seems to be wrong with it its working perfectly fine

There's no problem with the 3.0 firmware i haven't come across any problems with it
I think its worth getting it since its much cheaper, smaller and with a bigger hard drive anyway and it looks good even though I miss the glossy part of the ps3 and the touch power and eject buttons

that's good then, because my cousin is buying another one since his first ps3 blueray driver failed. btw you can't really compare ps2 slim with ps3 slim, ps3 is a lot more complicated. That's like comparing a really good expensive dvd player to a computer system.. just saying i'm just saying. I actually want slim since it would take less space in my room and it looks shinier..mmm shiny stuffs.

few of my friends are trying to upgrade to the slim one, hopefully they won't have a lot of errors like xbox360. i had no idea xbox360 had so many errors until i played little big planet online and they had maps for it and making fun of it x)

I just a bought a PS3 Slim. Only paid 100 brand new in box, don't ask how I got it for so cheap because I won't say. Anyways, I got MGS4 with it and I need some good game recommendations. I also have a Xbox 360 and have many of the games that are also on it PS3.

Recommend some games for me. I'll play anything as long as its worth my time.

i have the ps3 version. he's much more difficult than batman. he punches like a wuss and if you press the button to throw a batarang he actually shoots a gun but more than half of the time nothing comes out.
