I was watching the news and I heard that a PS3 game, or the console maybe, got sold on ebay for $10,000. Does anyone know what game that was or if this was even true? That is crazy insane if it is, lol.

Lag can happen for a number of reasons, poor connection or the online network. But if you compare titles like Call of Duty 3, for some reason the frame rate on the X360 version is much better than that on the PS3. My guess is that it was a straight port and not optimized for the CELL processor. I say give the system some time as first generation titles are rushed since developers have very little time to work cause they have to get it out the door on release day.

^as far as i know, all ps3 games are region free as of now. ps2 games however will not work from another region.

People sell email addresses for all kinds of stuff on ebay. It's not just limited to video game consoles. You'll find ridiculously large amounts of such bid items.

my uncle just called me yesterday hopefully with good new that he got a ps3. he didnt...i guess that 400,000 units didnt all come in on launch date. he told me only 150,000 was shipped and thats why there was a low supply of ps3s.

then i also heard from my managers that the next shipment is around christmas, january, then march. i hope this is true cause i want one. after seeing the dmc4 demo gameplay...wow.
