thanks for the heads up IMAJynXed1. i actually just picked up resistance last saturday [my bday ^^] and yes its super fun! the weapons make up for what the game lacks, doesnt seem different than other fps. love the weapons though. online battles are crazy! i just played a sniper battle with 39 other kats....wow! one hit. one kill. i killed like 5 people within less of a min! i was at 1st for a couple mins...until it started to respawn me in locations where no was to be found. ended up with 5th place...but thats good. yes i will definitely add you next time im on. my ID is the same as this one...soo add me as well.

apprently there are 2 groups to claim to have working PS3 ISO loaders made...Ferrox first released a video a few days ago, but it did look kinda fake, but it shows it running a Ridge Racer iso, while taking jabs at the other group known as Paradox, who said they also have a working loader but have not shown anything...neither loaders have been released yet...

also team-xecuter will be releasing an adapter pretty soon thatll make hooking up a bigger HDD easier...

I got mine January 2nd for price and $50 was tax so total was $650 for 60 gb.
I didn't like the choice of games though. They only gave me a choice from 5 games so I ended up getting Resistance but it's really too scary for me to play. >_<

I really like game, Time Crisis and I wonder how much it is to buy the arcade system??? lol >_<

Exactly. It doesn't have to be 3 am. It's like that game D or even playing Resident Evil in pitch darkness with only the light from the monitor emitted from the game and it's enough to scare you at 10, 11 pm, (which is what happened to me ).

I wouldn't say it was a total waste because personally I really like the wireless controller and the idea that this plays ps2 games also but yea I feel like I could and should be doing so much more with it. The choice of games really sucked for me. I think the game I contemplated for a second was Lord of the Rings? (Just a second since they mentioned that title after The Simpsons.) It was a no brainer that it was Resistance but I guess you can say we fell for the hype or their marketing strategy. I definitely think we'd be having more fun lunging the controller with the Wii which is what I mentioned under the Wii topic. I felt like giving the ps3 away cause I hardly played anything on it. Well now I started playing Dragon Quest VIII. Is there a Dragon Quest topic somewhere?

yeahh ps3 is soo slow on games right now. cant believe they pushed back assassin's creed to august. oh well, the longer the wait the better the game i usually say.

the only game im lookin forward to is probably rainbow 6 vegas. played the demo on the 360 and it was pretty fun. hopefully the ps3 ver has added things in it. i also wanna try ghost recon: advance warfare. it looked awesome on the 360, soo maybe it will be koo on the ps3.

man, until then i gotta wait longer. i think heavenly sword should be coming out within a few more months. finally a game that ive been lookin forward to.

i downloaded Gran Turismo HD Concept today...and WOW!!! and just think this is a game thats basically GT4 in HD, and its cancelled so they can work on GT5 instead...granted Polyphony Digital has always had the best visuals for the GT games, but playing it in 1080i is friggin sweet! i can only imagine how awesome GT5 will look...

ive taken some pictures with my digital camera, quality is alright, but you can really see how good GTHD looks...

PS3 and 360 are on the same market and are competing graphically when there is really no point in comparing 2 consoles just because you want your side to win.. either way you get what you want by buying one or both..

Anyways.. can't wait till march where some decent games are actually coming out.. hopefully my brother buys some games for his PS3 and not just BD movies..

In terms of games, 360 is dominating over the PS3 right now.

And since FF13 isn't coming out until 2008, it most likely will stay that way for a LONG, long time.
