i got into the warhawk beta testing...im DLing it right now, but i prolly wont be able to play it until this weekend...ill post up an impression by then...

it looks WORSE than EVER!!! so bad its not even watchable or playable >< don't know why.

did u change the settings? (btw upscaling only works with HDMI as far as i know)

Alright i played around with Warhawk for about an hr or so just now, the only reason i stopped is becuz the game has already froze on me 3 times! i had to hard reset the PS3 to restart...but other than that i find the game very enjoyable. the controls takes a bit to get use to, as youll control a soldier on foot, tank/jeep, or aircraft, each are similar in control but different a bit, plus i hate the whole invert u/d l/r scheme but a good thing is that you can turn them off.

i find flying the aircraft and getting into dogfights alot of fun, but the on foot parts arent bad, its just that most people will end up taking to the sky neways. the graphics itself looks nice, but its nothing spectacular from what ive seen but its not bad its just i dont care all that much about it. you can play up to 32 peeps at a time int he basic multiplayer games like deathmatch, team deathmatch and ctf but a cool thing is that even on the beta you can do a split screen of up to 4 people! (altho i havent tried it, ill let u know how it is when my bro stops by 2morrow, we can try it then)...i like it alot more than the Resistence online becuz it isnt just a FPS kinda game, you got foot, tanks and aircraft all together, only thing is that in Resistence can get 40 players on i dont see why Warhawk can't do that as well...

ill be picking it up when its released for sure.

yeah i played around with the settings and nothing seems to work. Sometimes when its a still image its smooth, but as soon as something moves it you can see scanlines and them stuff.

im hoping the announcement has something to do with PSN's entertainment downloadable content, maybe an partnership with Apple's ITune...they would need it to compete with LIVE...

The Korean Times is reporting that on Tuesday night, Sony sold a staggering 200 PS3 units in three minutes on a cable TV shopping channel. Sony have been a bit apprehensive as to what kind of sales target to set in Korea for the PS3 due to the market's preference of PC gaming, but after seeing all units sold out, Korean Sony officials were said to be left excited and baffled at the same time.

the ps3 sold there have an 80GB hard drive, downloadable content and vod support for those who don't know. but it does not have emotion engines like european (pal) versions.

naw thatz not true. top korean game right now is tekken 5 dark resurrection so im thinking ps3 is going to be a big hit in korea beacause tekken 5 dr is already for download and guess wut its going to go online vs mode pretty soon to.

it just a patch, it fixes the RGB...now if you set if from Limited to Full Range, it can get alot closer to true black.
