yea, bluray games are region free, so jnese ps3 can be played on us ps3...bluray movies are region coded.

old ps1/2 games are still region coded.

woo good news guys!

heavenly sword demo is coming out soooooon!!!! the guys at ninja theory said that they just completed the demo and now its up to sony when to release it.

i heard that that euro store is going to get it at the 26th. i danno when the us release date is gonna be...maybe sooner, later, or even at the same time. BUT thats ok!!!! WE ARE GETTING HEAVENLY SWORD FOR SURE THO!!!

as for the update of metal gear solid 4. kojima demoed mgs4 last nite or two nights ago? i believe gamepro wrote a preview of it showing all the koo new details in which mgs4 carries. SOUNDS AWESOME!!! the video of the dem should be comin out on the 24th as well as more info of mgs 20th anniversary.

and does anyone wanna guess what might this will be?

just to give you a heads up david jaffe creater of god of war and *ahem* the twisted metal series said that he was workin on a new game and mite be tryin to get a new twisted metal in the works.

hope its twisted metal forsure though!!! i miss that game!

EDIT: ^errr its not twisted metal. gawd daymnit. the person who made that was part of sonys ad campaign sayin that the ps3 is "an explosion of fun"

oh well...we still got great other games that will becomin out.

too bad i don't have a HDTV

but i was still surprised at how the gfx look on an SDTV. heavenly sword demo out tomorrow. i've been playing resistance and ninja gaiden sigma, get owned so badly in NGS.

well CURRENTLY xbox360 has a fair amount of good games rite now , in the future there will be some good ones as well(Mass Effect, Halo 3, Project Gotham Racing 4 ). If you are going to get a xbo360 id recommend you get it after october since they will fix the overheating problem that the xbox has been having. PS3 is definately gunna be a big hit soon as they have a lot of great titles coming (Heavenly Sword, Metal Gear Solid 4 , Little Big Planet, Warhawk, Unreal Tournament 3...etc) . The Wii is in kinda its own league sicne its more aimed at everyone , games are fun but usually they are fun with people rather then playing it yourself.

neways the Heavenly Sword demo is out...its a little under a gig worth of download...its a very pretty game, the music, environment and Nariko is going to steal away Lara's thunder! she is breathtakenly beautiful!...the controls work well, and she has a nice set of moves to use...but its a very short demo...i actually finished it in 10mins or so and said...thats it? but its a gig for 10min play...imagine how much space is gunna be used for the whole game? blu-ray FTW!!

i only wish the heavenly sword demo was so....short. Sheez....seriously shorter than 10 minutes...

but its fun, i love how there's 3 stances and how u can counter and which stance to counter with, etc. I saw more of the game via webcam on kotaku, one of the guys got a longer demo sent to him and he was playing it and fought a boss. Some fish lady, and it was pretty sweet.

oh yeah, did u know when u throw someone or an item, hold down "x" and it will follow the item/person temporary?? ahhaha....did it by mistake!

edit: oh yeah, ninja gaiden is pissing me off right now....we'll i'm trying to beat Doku on the first encounter, which ur not suppose to, but you can...

btw for those who were playing on SDTV and now on HDTV, is the HDTV leap really big? cos i'm quite pleased with SDTV gfx atm.

heavenly swordd...even though its short its tooo fun.

have you guys just countered the whole way? i love the countering in it. reminds me if the good old days of onimusha 3 where all i did is counter. i got S rating for beating it the first time through.
