I'm leaning towards being a design major, but I don't know which school is a better school to go to for designs. I heard Drexel has a really good design program, but here, a lot of design majors wants to go to Parsons. I've never really heard of Parsons so I don't have enough information on it.
Is it hard to get into Parsons than in Drexel?

parson's is better, but you should apply to both and put drexel as second choice in case you dont get into parson's.

Parsons is a much more prestigious design school than Drexel. I think Marc Jacobs, Donna Karan, and Isaac Mizrahi are all among Parsons alumni.

depends on what type of design you're trying to go into. What are you planning to study?

parsons is a great art school.. very competitive. there's also RISD & pratt.. which are also very hard to get into. drexel doesn't have a great art dept. i remember my friend going to visit last yr & she didn't like it much.

My sister's at majoring in graphic design at drexel, but she chose it because she didn't wanna go to an all art college. you know, just in case she wanted to change majors. so if you're definitely certain you want to pursue art, then i say parsons as well. but my sister told me her typography teacher designed the ambigram for Dan Brown's Angels and Demons and also part of Robert Langdon from The DaVinci Code is based off of this guy. I thought that was kind of cool.
