I think it's practically over. Japan has great defense and offensive and to make a major comeback is damn slim, unless the game is delayed where the Japanese players get tired and the Korean's don't, which is illogical thinking.

Yea, I'm somewhat pissed. Imagine the cocky Japanese in Japan right now. This is probably going to add to the animosity between the two countries.

I was having a pretty solid day until I sat down to watch the game in fact now im in a bad mood and even though the game is being postponed im afraid to watch it till the end. One thing that pissed me off was the comment by Ichiro Suzuki saying how Japan should beat Korea (and Chinese Taipei) to show them that they couldnt beat Japan in the next 30 years or something to that effect. Not to take anything away from Ichiro cause he is one of the MLB's finest, but that just made me angrier esp. after looking at the scoreboard. I think the criteria for advancement in the WBC is kinda weird, but at least the Korean team showed the world that they are a force to be reckoned with and as a whole I really enjoyed the World Baseball Classic, props to Bud Selig.

But Korea made it to the SFs undefeated AND beat Japan twice

I feel sorry for Byung Hyung Kim because i'm pretty sure that home run he gave reminded him of the home runs he gave up when the Diamondbacks played against the Yankees. Luckily that time the Diamondbacks were still able to win the whole thing but this time i guess not as lucky. I give props to Korea for playing very well throughout the tournament and Ichiro shouldn't of made his comment but i still love watching Ichiro play since he did open up the game for other Asian hitters to be recognized. Good luck to Korea in 2009 and i just hope the US plays better then.
