Haven't seen a thread for SM here.

Not being on tv for a long time I miss it. Recently I've gone to watching it from the start. This time in japanese and subbed. I watched the first season and midway to the R season. The s and super s seasons I've only seen bits of them when they were on CN. But I didn't watch those episodes that much then. The stars season I've seen half of it but haven't seen the last few episodes and until the end. I'll watch it all the way through again and finish up with the ones I haven't seen. For anyone else who watched it what did you think of the series? Those who liked it , which did you think was the best season?

SM was like the first anime i saw, this and DBZ for most of us anyway. I can't stand the english voice actors, back then i thought they were good but recently i dl-ed all 5 seasons and i watched them with subs. the first 4 seasons were a bit lame i think but the last season was pretty good--the storyline seemed a lot deeper than the others.

Yeah I agree Sailor Moon was my first anime I seen, and I love it (still do!) But as far as my favorite season (hard choice) I think I would choose the 1st season just because they were going through finding the Sailor Scouts and the Princess. Though I like it better when they all have like super strong powers!

Ooo, I used to love watching this. I havn't watch the star seried yet.. -__- I like all the seasons especually the R one. Well now, I watch the live action of it.

so in the japanese version they call sailor moon usagi but in the dub they call her serena or something? i don't think i even knew that until one day i watched the last ep of season 1.

but yeah, this is one of the earlier series i've watched. i didn't really care for it that much though. i was a dbz fan instead.

Yeah for the english version, they change around the names of the character. Some remain the same but spelling was different for example Raye(dub version) and Rei(raw version). Not to mention the attacks they had as well. I saw all of the series except the last one. I only seen the ending from fansub tapes. T_T I think each season ending is so sad but for me Sailor Stars had the most saddest ending. Those who seen it, knows why. I don't want to spoil it for those who didn't see it.

Overall, I guess stars is best season for me as well as first one.

this was my first (and one of my favorite) anime. i only got up to the season before chibichibi came. anyone know where i can possibly download the episodes somewhere? haha

I've seen the entire series (minus the SuperS specials) and I would rank the seasons in this order:

1. Sailor Moon S
2. Sailor Moon Sailor Stars
3. Sailor Moon R
4. Sailor Moon
5. Sailor Moon SuperS

SuperS has the best production value but the villains were pretty ridiculous.

one thing about sailor moon: the manga is waaay better than the anime...
it wasn't my first anime (i saw candy candy and doraemon before this) but it's my first obsession i guess... i lost most of my SM mangas and i really miss them... my favorite storyline was perhaps the Dark Moon arc, with that pegasus guy and the circus acts... that was fun!

i thought i would hate sailor moon now due to its cheesy villains and totally unsurprising plot. but when i watched it again on youtube.. i still think it's really good and classical. O.o

im really surprised. after all these yrs... i still like sailor moon.

i just downloaded sailormoon live performance. Tuxedo Mask is SOOOOOOOOOO hoTTTTTTTT but i dun think that girl played Usagi well
