Would you cheat if you KNEW you wouldn't get caught?

so... most people admit to cheating. those that don't say that they don't because they don't want to get in trouble.

let's say you have the opportunity to cheat, and there is 100% chance that you will get away with it scotch free. there's absolutely no chance that you'd get caught.

would you cheat?

i think what you are being tested on matters. if its something important to my future and its knowledge i should know, then no i wouldnt cheat. for example, i might pass my cpa exam by cheating but once you go in the real world you'd get screwed.

otherwise, probably. if its zero chance of being caught it might as well be a group test. but cheating in general is overrated..

if i wouldn't get caught, yes. i remember in HS when the AP kids used to joke around, "we're AP students because we know how to cheat." it's true, it's true.

hm i would honestly say that i will not cheat because that doesnt bring out the capabilities i have on doing anything. But I admit that i did cheated before back when i use to go take chinese courses, it was so easy to cheat, the instructor never noticed it haha.

yes, but if it was for a class that had something to do with my future, then i would try not to cheat and learn the materials to be prepare myself.

btw, this is so off, but ngaouction? were you an old member from soompi?
so we'll just let them hate

i wouldnt cheat off of someone else, but to be honest i probably would. reason being, if i had the opportunity to, other people probably would as well. its needed to stay at par. i wouldnt actually make an effort to go out of my way to cheat, but if it was that easy to obtain a test or something, its probably the prof's fault in the first place or he doesnt care that much to begin with. also, i dont really believe that the things you learn in college are directly applicable to your future occupation. indirectly, yeah possibly, but youre here to achieve the highest GPA possible to get that job in the first place. all this is said.. of course.. disregarding moral standards smile.gif

if i knew i wasn't going to get caught, sure I'd cheat. I definitely wouldn't want to, but doing well in college (having good grades) means a better starting job in the future
