you know when you have a cold and you're all snotty and it drips to your lips and makes them all red?
well now that my cold is gone, my top lip turned brownish and super dry.
vaseline doesn't help me. i slopped on a dallop of vaseline andthe dark area and dryness wopn't go away.
any suggestions? and i tried soaking a warm towel on my face and exfoliated dead skin off. but no can do

Ouch! Must be painful. Just drink heaps of water, eat heaps of fruits and use sorbeline above your lips. I know this very good chappy I use, it's by blistex. I don't know if they have it in your area, but I'm in Australia, so yeah.

See a doctor about it? B/C I know this girl in my class that has something similar to that and she has 'special cream' for her upper lip b/c it's dry..

NIVEA cream
It is sold in most drug stores and it is in a little blue tub.
omg. it is so great. My friend introduced it to me because she is a hardcore college diver and they get shammy burn from rubbing their faces with the shammy too much.
Just rub some on (anywhere, feet, elbows, in your case on your upper lip) and it is the only cream availiable on the market with minimal sting, great mosturising and softening capacity without the breaking out.
Good luck

i had that once back in high school! it was during winter too.
my lips were really dried.. and painful too ><
someone thought i was wearing lipstick = =ll
but anyways, i just used chapstick for about a week to keep the lips more moisturized? and it worked.
best of luck to you!!

LOL i like how ur display pic has a photoshopped mustache =P
anyways
i think you should just keep drinking lotsa water and put cream on the area.
i use Olay moisterizing lotion on my face when it's dry and it works really well
don't touch it and irritate it too much.. just let it heal on its own~
