Whenever I play MapleStory, my computer automatically shuts down on its own. It always does that whenever I play, and it's only for MapleStory. How can I fix that? I've already asked the people in mapleglobal, but I didn't get a reply back. help? ^^; thanks!

iht happaned to my brothers computer. i thought iht was cause his computer couldnt handle it since the program was so big and his comp had a lot of viruses. iht works now after he got rid of his virus.

check the requirements for maple story. it shouldnt require much. download DirectX 9 (or higher) if you don't already have it.

i don't have this problem even when i play MS on a very old comp.
is it overheating? or graphics card glitch?

if it just random crashes, it might have to dow tih a bad graphics card.

Reinstalll direct X 9c (google it)
Find out the manufacture of your video card, get new drivers for it.
If it still crashes:
Right click my computer, properties.
One of the tabs has a startup and recovery or error handling. In advanced, make sure automatically restart is uncheked.
[someone check for me, on Pocket PC right now... no windows]
depending on the error we can see what else we may need to poke.
Find out the manufacture of your video card, get new drivers for it.

My sister has that problem. After nProtect finish loading her computer just restarts. She uninstalled/reinstalled the game though. Still didnt workk.
