GOSH i am like at home all anxious every day waiting for a letter from USC lol did anyone apply? and did you receive a reply yet? Cause i haven't and i want to check it online but i can't find a place to check it online ahah do you know where? i wonder if they even have a site to check for it...

and no, i was not a scholarship applicant. i just sent mine in on the regular admission deadline.

usc can be sorta slow w/ the letters. last year i got mine waaaaay after everyone else got there's.

after checking the financial aid package from usc a few days ago, i thank them for being so generous with financial aid haha.

i got the dean's scholarship and they gave me a lot of grants, so my parents only have to pay about ~22k/yr. I'm thinking my other schools will load the package with loans (usc only gave me 2k loans), so both my parents and I are satisfied with usc financially.

maybe the same thing will happen to you.

I still havent gotten it either. Batgirl, you're not the only one that has been waiting anxiously! I know some people at my school that received it THIS week, and others that received it the FIRST week of March. I am getting quite scared about my acceptance )

i think USC is 100% need based financial aid, so they make it so that you pay what you can and they somehow provide the rest.

OMG OMG i hate this!! lol it's taking way toO LONG lol and they don't have a darn website to check it ahead of time so it's liek ur waiting for the mail man each day!! haha and when he doesn't come ur afriad u pissed him off or something! haha

i think USC is 100% need based financial aid, so they make it so that you pay what you can and they somehow provide the rest.

"provide the rest" means work-study, loans, along with some 'free money' that they may give you.

Both my friend and I received REALLY GOOD packages -- they'll probably be the best ones we get.
