I heard of some songs like that "bootaybootaybootaybootaybootay everywhere" song (who sings that btw O_O?) But I really need to learn/practice, so any dance music would be a big help

Hey, I'm not very good at dancing and my prom is coming up! I can learn on my own, BUT I know very little about the current popular songs they play at proms/dances...can anyone help me by telling me what songs are popular to dance too? What do they play in the clubs?

learning on your own could be an option, but it's always good to practice with a group of friends.
you could get some talented friends to teach you the basics. if you have a guy friend that could help you, even better!
songs/artists that get me moving
-black eyed peas (pump it; my humps)
-ciara (goodies; 1, 2 step)
-ludacris
-the neptunes
-lil jon and the eastside boys (roll call; get low)
-usher (yeah)
-dmx

I don't have any songs to recommend, but just a tip. If you want to practice, try to set the BPM (beats per minute) of the songs at a faster rate. Usually songs like Usher's Yeah are played very fast by the DJ to get the party pumping.

^ Yeah, I tried watching some rap, but it's alot of short cut scenes, I got the general feel of what's going on, but I just need to get used to it
Thanks for all the songs so far! Keep 'em coming, I want to dance until I can't feel my feet
