After having 3 brand new pos Rota wheels being bent the first 3 weeks after getting them installed, I am deciding between the Volks and the Gramlights.

Here's a stupid question though. They're both made by Rays Engineering, and both are forged. Why are the Gramlights a couple hundred dollars cheaper than the Volks? Am I missing something here? Or is it because Volks are more popular than Gramlights? Or is it because one is stronger than the other?


I am deciding between the Volk CE28N and the GramLights 57C.

not all gramlights are forged. the 57c's you mentioned are cast, hence the c. the volk ce28n are a far better wheel than the 57cs. not only stronger but lighter too. most gramlights arent that light...

57c: 17x7.5 - 18lbs
ce28n: 17x17.5 - 13.8 lbs
