something wrong with my car?

before my car use to change gears at like 2k rpm but now it always changes around at like 3 when im driving the same. and sometimes the rev meter jumps up... it seems as its not driving as it is use to. does anyone have any idea why its doing that?

Check your ATF. Should be between red and bright red if it's good fluid. Brown and darker colors means you need to change the fluid. I think every 30k miles is also time to change fluid. You will also need to change your transmission filter and transmission pan gasket.

check to make sure you have a good battery. if your battery is in bad condition all sorts of weird things can start to happen. i've seen a bad tranny being caused by a bad battery before.

a problem like that would be difficult to diagnose with the little information you've given (not even a make and model) and not being able to see the car

This is very true, a bad charging system on a BMW would make it go crazy

the battery died 3 times in like 2 months cuz the headlights were not turned off. i thought the batt was okay if you recharged it.. no?

its a 95' civic ex sedan

Best thing to do is to get the battery tested, especially if it's 3~4+ years old.

I'm sure Kragen will test batteries for free, some other auto supply shops also test batteries.

no the batter is not ok if you recharge it. every time you charge a batter from dead you damage the battery. it can only take being drained and recharged so many times. also if you have a maitnence free batter they are especially weak
