Congrats on the ///M!
Make sure that car had the Rod bearing recall done as 2001-2003 Models had that problem.
And get some LED Tail lights! It looks much much better. Have fun and drive safe!

Oh, because I'm going to get a new one later on. Plus, they're making an M4, which looks mighty appealing to me. Another reason is I'm only 17, and I have to buy this on my own. I can't afford $55,000.
HOWEVER, I have this lawsuit that should get me a good 300K+. With that money, I shall buy a new one.

Whoever you bought it from, ask them if they got the Rod bearing recall done or not. If they did, you're ok. If not, then you should take it over to BMW.

A brand new M3 out the door will be close to $60k
I paid $62k for mine. Plus a couple more grand for mods. BMW parts (OEM or Aftermarket) are VERY EXPENSIVE!! Be prepared to spend lots and lots for it.
You're lucky to even have an M3 at the age of 17 whether its used 2001 or not. Be greatful.

hey hey nice car, its the same color as mine. Its an awesome car I hope you got extended warranty on that thing because the maintainance bills are....well for lack of a better word...ouch
