1984
The Devil in the White City
Both really good books. 1984 has lots of very interesting ideas, and I learned a lot of history from White City.
Currently moving onto
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time and
Catch-22

"Mary, Queen of Scotland and the Isles"
by Margaret George.
Margaret George is just amazing. Everyone needs to read her books, including the one I mentioned, "The Memoirs of Cleopatra," "Helen of Troy," and "Mary Magdalene." Her novels are so detailed, and they just take you to another time.
