am currently reading The Year Of Secret Assignments by Jaclyn Moriarty- very good book if you're in need of a sappy friendship novel.

i plan to focus on a more intense read after this, the kite-runner. i heard it was good. (^-^)

I just finished "My Russian" by McNamer a couple of days ago. Overall, it was a pretty good book with such delicate and beautiful descriptions, but halfway through the book I got so annoyed with the main character, and the ending was quite unsatisfying. I'm going to get started on "Moby Dick" soon, I got the book very cheap through B&N's 50% off on all classics deal. Didn't know that many people here also take great advantage of it, I also took quite a few classics for myself last weekend, but I'm thinking of buying more when I get the chance to go there again biggrin.gif.

Just finished
1984
The Devil in the White City

Both really good books. 1984 has lots of very interesting ideas, and I learned a lot of history from White City.

Currently moving onto
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time and
Catch-22

i'm reading

"Mary, Queen of Scotland and the Isles"
by Margaret George.

Margaret George is just amazing. Everyone needs to read her books, including the one I mentioned, "The Memoirs of Cleopatra," "Helen of Troy," and "Mary Magdalene." Her novels are so detailed, and they just take you to another time.
