very, very, very, very, very good.
picked it up from the library's used book section for 30 cents.
best 30 cents i spent so far.
i don't usually read sci-fi books, but if i had to describe it, i guess you might call it the star trek version of harry potter. card has a really great imagination, and you really get sucked into this world he's created. it's very readable...you can finish many pages in a short time...
the characterization of ender is really moving. i <3 ender. he really broke my heart. give it a go!
30 cents?? T___T Definitely the best 30 cents spent. Haha.
I read that book back in junior high and truthfully I FAINTLY remember what it's about now...only that there was an unseen twist at the end. But what I DO remember is how much I loved it (and the author's confusing name...I kept saying card-scott)! It was fantastic and a surprisingly easy read for such a good book.
Personally I am currently devouring a fantastic little book called "On Giant's Shoulders". I've been meaning to read it since I flicked through a few pages while at the library a few years ago but never got around to it. Finally I snatched it up at the bookshop the other day and all I can say is that I'm disappointed I didn't read it earlier. It's so interesting and jam-packed with humourous details about the world of science. It's books like this that make me feel like picking up the nearest chemistry textbook to read for fun.

I loved "The Odyssey". I read it in high school and then again last year and it's really good. I prefer it over "The Illiad".
Still reading "The Murder of Bindy Mackenzie"; it's still not that great, especially compared to "The Year of Secret Assignments" but Bindy has some very interestings musings.

the power of your intense fragility: whose texture
compels me with the colour of its countries,
rendering death and forever with each breathing

Do not even listen, simply wait, be quiet, still and solitary.
The world will freely offer itself to you to be unmasked,
it has no choice, it will roll in ecstasy at your feet.

"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to," said the Cat.
"I don't much care where--" said Alice.
"Then it doesn't matter which way you go,' said the Cat.

As for me, I can't stop reading it, and I think I sort of like the main character in a way.
note* this is the book that sort of incouraged the guy who assasinated Jon Lennon (Beatles member). Not saying that it's an evil book or that it'll drive you mad. Just an interesting fact I thought I'd put out there.
