yup The Golden Compass trilogy was so well written and entertaining. reminds me of a harry potter/narnia mix.

has anyone read The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova??? its currently on sale and i was thinking of buying it but i wanted to hear some reviews about it before i did.

Currently reading A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry.
If you've never read it, please do. It's a beautiful book that will tear you to pieces.

I'm reading New Moon by Stephenie Meyer.

You need to check out her books they are the best. Esp. Twilight.

I read it a few months back. It's actually pretty good; not amazing but it's worth a read (although I didn't really like the ending much)

Havn't read it, but I enjoy reading his books. My fav is Invisble Monsters.

I've never been very interested into fantasy.. vampires books, but since
so many of you recommended Twilight and New Moon by Stephenie Meyer.... I started reading them.
I am half way through New Moon.
Her books are unbelievable. I love them!!

I'm glad so many people are getting into stephanie Meyer!!! I love her books!!!

I just finished English as a Second Language... the book is so funny!!!
right now I am rereading Blue Bloods... and then I am going to reread A Great and Terrible Beauty... both awsome reads.
