Mansfield Park.

im reading Atonement by Ian McEwan
the movie (with Keira Knightley and James McAvoy) is coming out later this year biggrin.gif

the storyline is quite interesting, but the plot moves quite slowly at the start - so far, not a bad read!

one of my most favorite books. biggrin.gif felt dreadful at the news of Keira Knightley playing Cecilia (obviously i'm not a KK fan). or is she playing Briony? blink.gif she's more of a Briony imo.

Ghost, interrupted by Sonia Singh & Romance of the 3 kingdoms vol.2.
Usually do 2 at a time, technically I'm also reading some others but these are just for enjoyment.

If It's Purple, Someone's Gonna Die: The Power of Color in Visual Storytelling by Patti Bellantoni

it outlines the use of colors in films to evoke certain emotions, moods, imagery, etc. my professor recommended it and i was getting a little tired reading fiction works for humanities classes. pretty good read, if a little less informative unless you've seen every single film discussed.

My Lost and Found Life by Melodie Bowsher.

It's pretty interesting but I don't like the whole popular rich girl --> poor Cinderella. Too cliche.

Gave up on The Devil of Nanking.

The Night Dance by Suzanne Weyn, a retelling of the twelve sisters or something. It's an okay read.

someone should read the.. dog in the nighttime or whatever its called, and tell me their opinions. i found it pretty interesting and good.. but everyone else thought it was crap. =[

^ the trailer for the movie is out biggrin.gif it looks quite good!!

And do you mean the curious incident of the dog in the nighttime (or sth like that tongue.gif) ?
i found it rather odd.. but it was intriguing. LOL i remember my math teacher making us solve a math problem from the book - - and none of us managed to solve it (top-set maths btw =_=)

Seriously, everyone should read The Time Traveller's Wife. I was super sleepy but managed to stay up till 2am just to read it biggrin.gif

OK, I do, but it's SO boring. It may be a classic, but all I want to read is Harry Potter. _ _

yayyy! is it true nicole kidman is going to be in it? she would make a great mrs. coulter.

and yea! thats the one! with the weird prime number chapters. hahaha.

so i finished the trilogy... and i officially ran out of things to read. so maybe ill read the five people you meet in heaven again. or.. eragon. i hate eragon though, its such a boring book. i bought the eldest.. but i dont want to get around to reading it. =[ maybe i should read the abhorsen trilogy again. lmao. me and fantasy books. or, maybe i should stop reading for now. =\
