I finished The Bonesetter's Daughter by Amy Tan a few weeks ago, and it was really good. I recommend it.
Currently, I'm reading Never Mind the Goldbergs by Matthue Roth (I just checked it out this morning at school) and tomorrow I'll probably be checking out The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan for english class. Unless I can find another AP Lit book that's more interesting, of course.

Currently reading; Doctor Zhivago by Boris Pasternak.

It's a really, really good book on the Russian Revolution. An absolute classic. smile.gif

========== &&&

And I'm reading Angels & Demons by Dan Brown. I recieved The Da Vinci Code for Christmas & I liked it so much that I went and bought A&D. Dan Brown is such a good author. I couldn't put either of his books down. Haha. As soon as I'm done with Zhivago & Angels, I going on to Deception Point (another DB novel)...

Too lazy to make a new thread so i'm here asking for recommendation for love novels that would make me cry my eyes out. I don't want it to be chessy, just touching and have depth. thank you in advance smile.gif

Socrates in Love by Kyoichi Katayama (english translation of sekachu laugh.gif )
nothing which we are to perceive in this world equals
the power of your intense fragility: whose texture
compels me with the colour of its countries,
rendering death and forever with each breathing
