Ahh, how are you liking Norwegian Wood? It's one of my favourite Murakamis.

It's awesome!! I'm really enjoying it. I love how his books are so hard to predict, ANYTHING could happen. And the characters are all so out there yet at the same time amazingly human. I'm thinking about reading Hard-Boiled Wonderlan [?] next. smile.gif

That's so right, I love how he crafts his characters. I really like Midori in Norwegian Wood, she was just so irrepressible.

Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World is another of my favourites. There are two strands of narration, the End of the World one edges it a bit, but it's a beautiful story. It's a bit underrated, so I'm glad there's still some love for it out there. I hope you enjoy it too!

Reminds me to SG WannaBe's song~ tongue.gif

The White-bone Demon by Anchee Min a.k.a. Becoming Madame Mao

My first book which needed 3 weeks to finished.

This is a novel about Mao Zhe Dong's wife, Mao Jiang Ching. Her life story since she was a little girl til she ended up as a prisoner and kill herself.

For real~ this is a novel, but you wouldn't realize it and will think that it's a biography of her, Anchee Min is really a good writer. She need 5 years to finished this book.

This is a good recommended book for you who want to know Mao Jiang Ching in personal, or for you who want to know what's in a woman's thought.

^If I remember correctly, Beth dies... I love Little Women and the sequels~ So good~
Gotta love George Orwell. Animal Farm is great, and my favorite book of his is 1984... classic dystopian novel.

Currently reading The Hole In The Universe by K.C. Cole. I gotta have my fill of astronomy and metaphysics smile.gif Everything from Sartre to M-theory~
