A Pale View of Hills by Kazuo Ishiguro. Almost done with it. It's very interesting so far.

The things they caried - Tim O'brien - so fun (doesn't mean funny). Gotta love his writing style, I usually don't like war stories but this book is so interesting.

I just finished "After Dark" by Haruki Murakami. It was okay, but enjoyable. I like the conversations but it's a little plain and confusing at some point.

I read The Things they Carried about four years ago while on my vacation in California. I don't remember much, but I do remember that it was pretty graphic (field of poop?).

I read that last quarter for english. It made me realize how 'real' war is......
For english, I finished Just Referred. Very interesting. You learn about the hidden economy in the US. It amazed how BIG the porn industry is. >.<

Last week I finished Dreamland. Enjoyed it. Right now i'm reading Lock and Key. When I'm done, I'll read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Peony by Pearl S. Buck

The Good Earth is my favorite from her.

the sight of the deep-blue sky and the clustering stars above seems to impart a quiet to the mind."

^A Thousand Splendid Suns. Lol.

I just finished Size 12 is Not Fat by Meg Cabot. Cute book, cute heroine. I was actually surprised that the book wasn't so bad.

Now I'm working on The Secret of Peaches --- the sequel to Peaches by Jodi Lynn Anderson. I LOVED Peaches. Hopefully this one won't disappoint me.
