It's like an essay thing, but they turned it into a book. It's nonfiction, meaning that it's true. It's the stories of 6 people that survived the bombing of Hiroshima in 1945.
I'm prepared for an interesting read.

I am currently reading Their Eyes Were Watching God for an English class in college. That book is way too boring and it makes me fall asleep while reading many times.
Aww, I loved that book!!
Reading The Color Purple by Alice Walker for my Banned Books class. It's interesting -- I like it!
Also reading Two for the Dough by Janet Evanovich -- recommended by a friend.

just finished Kite Runner and The Color of Water.
"the kite runner" is good... yay... never heard of the latter book, but....
anyway, i just finished "the red queen" by margaret drabble, which is based on the memoirs of an 18th-century korean crown princess. so the first half of the book is a posthumous narration of the princess' story, and the second half is about her "envoy," a modern-day british academic who attends a conference in seoul and finds herself fascinated with the memoirs. it's pretty good and it makes me want to read more of margaret drabble's novels.
