Finished Candy by Kevin Brooks last night.

It was a pretty interesting and fast-paced kind of boy-meets-girl story. Definitely recommend it.

Currently reading Caucasia by Danzy Senna. It's interesting, but really slow-paced.

i'm reading Suite Francaise by Irene Nemivorsky.
it was interesting and i found it very believable because of the strong sense of humanity the characters portrayed. but then my books for my summer reading assignment arrived. so i took a break from Suite Francaise. now i'm back at it again, and i kinda find it less interesting.

reading Nick Hornby's "How to be Good"

i highly recommend all his books.. most of his books went on to become movies such as 'about a boy', 'fever pitch', and 'high fidelity'.

Reading Stephen King's Dark Tower Series: Wizard and Glass...although, I really should be reading my summer reading (Sophie's World by Jostein Gaarder) but I find it terribly boring, not to mention annoying; I'd rather read a straight book of philosophy than a story that revolves around it dry.gif the circumstances and events that unfold are so unbelievable and makes you wonder, "Who the hell would ever conceive the notion to do this?"
yes....not happy with schoolwork and yet the beginning of the year just gets closer and closer crazy.gif

Jeffrey Eugenides' Middlesex. It's very in depth with history of like Greece and the Detroit area despite being a book about an intersexual.

^Aw I've been meaning to read that!
I'm not reading anything right now, but I finished The Sound and the Fury last night and I loved it.

However, I'm going to Pittsburgh tomorrow and on the way there I'm planning on reading The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka and Notes from Underground by Fyodor Dostoevsky. While I'm there and on the way back I'm also going to try and read The Secret Sharer/Heart of Darkness both by Joseph Conrad and get started on To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. <3

Not to mention all the stuff I'll pick up at Pittsburghs huge Barnes and Noble. @_@

Alone; in five minutes I'll be safe at home...
