I really like Cherish, Love Song, I Za Na I Zu Ki, and Akaku Moyoru Taiyu.
Overall, I enjoyed their first album as well as Kat-tun's debut album.

Their recent single Hidashi no Cinderella Boy is off the hook!

I love JE and their stupid hand-dance-thingiemajiggers. NEWS, Kanjani8, KAT-TUN, Tackey & Tsubasa.. etc. I suppose you could call it their trademark or whatever.. haha~ I think I would be able to recognize a Johnny if I saw him doing a hand dance. ROFL

Yes, whoever the choreographer in JE is, is awesome XD their dances always flow so well & the hand movements are pretty easy so that the fans can do it along during concerts & perfs =D hm i think the person who dances the least best in NEWS is Shige (sorry shige fans!! >o<). I just think it looks a bit awkward & unnatural when he dances u_u;;

^ ROFL~ In the Cherish PV, Shige doesn't have much rhythem. But lately he's been getting good! Watching him on SC and everything.. you can tell he's gotten a lot better. Especially during his solo on his SC. He was good!

Well, I just started listening to NewS, so I really don't have a particular favorite member haha; that's in terms of singing, but as an actor, Yamapi gets my attention (gee, I sound effin' gay ). After watching "Nobuta Wo Produce," I was like, "Whoa, he's exactly like me. Weird and happy." I've noticed that he's pretty damn ripped as well; that's usually rare for japanese celebrities.

Btw, WingL, TVXQ and SS501 are Korean groups.

i though that she was jokin, anyways as philmein said they are both korean boysbands. and probably a lot would want to kill me after i said this but honestly some of the members (NOT ALL) of both groups ownz every single JE member when it comes to dancing (some of them could dance to every single style almost perfect) and singing (they reach really difficult notes when singing). I don't think my opinion is harsh but anyways my apologize if i hurt some fans' feelings.


here is the story about the NEWS incident told by teshi-bear

Well, here's the whole story..

As most people know, NEWS performs for the volleyball competitions held in Japan (Volleyball World Cup 2003, Athen's Olympic Volleyball Worldwide, 2004 Women's Volleyball World Grand Prix 2004, etc.).. I don't know exactly what that's called but yeah. Anyways, last summer, NEWS performed at the 2005 Women's Volleyball World Grand Prix 2005 with the song TEPPEN. I believe after one game, they were invited to go to a party held afterwards (I'm not sure who was hosting the party or if it was even for the volleyball team). I think they were invited by some news reporter, though I can't recall her name. Uchi decided to go but the other members didn't. There was, of course, drinking at the party and the news reporter lady insisted that Uchi drink, even though Uchi is underaged. I think at first Uchi didn't want to but he ended up drinking anyways. I suppose he drank to the point where he was, of course, drunk. Anyways, since Uchi was by himself at the party, he had no one to come with him when he left. So Uchi left by himself, with no one with him to look after him. So then Uchi goes to some nearby park and was said to have been yelling and making a ruckus. Nearby neighbors called the police and when they came, they brought Uchi to the police station. Later on the in evening, Johnny-san (or some people from the company) came and brought Uchi back home.

Johnny-san then decided, for Uchi's punishment, that he would be suspended for six months. NEWS then made a public apology where they apologized to the fans and for Uchi's actions.

When the six months were up (in December), Uchi still did not return. I suppose the only people who know why Uchi didn't return is the jimusho themselves. I don't think the fans have any idea why he didn't return or hasn't returned yet.

Oh, and for the Uchi incident.. I even think Ryo-chan cried over it. Something like.. he was saying that it would never have happened if he had been there with him.

ok bascially Kusano was caught in a karaoke room underage drinking with a girl o_o the paparazzi caught it on pciture.......but THAT DOESNT PROVE IT WAS BEER >_< the picture is really blurry so the can could be anything o_o (i have a chinese article of the picture but you guys have probably seen the paparazzi pics) and supposedly, kusano asked the girl for a blowjob.....ooookay ¬__¬;;; so Kusano is on his self relection period after that incident (that's why the SC episodes doesnt have him in it). Since NEWS only have 6 members left, they're going on vacation after their spring conert ends. 'self reflection period'. yea whatever u_u; solo projects will still go on like dramas & such. when NEWS come back, there will (hopefully) be 8 members =D
