I guess i'm the only who dislike his voice, his voice are okay sometimes and it's great for certain songs (i like daite senorita) but i cringe every time he sing lives. Not a Yamap hater, just dislike the voice.

yea it was definitely shounen club. there is like..absolutely no reason he'd be on music station. their promoting for the pacific album/weeeek is pretty much done.

I thought there was sufficient Tegomasu. As in barely any. Heh. I love Tegomasu and all, but THEY HAVE PLENTY. Seriously. Two singles already (and they're not even an official group or whatever). So I don't honestly think there's a need for any more. I was surprised, but glad. Because on pacific there's different combinations etc. And more Shige~~ XD *____* *flails* Ahem. I still like touch better though. More jumpy and NEWS-y.

i love tegomasu, but yea. definitely. MORE SHIGE FTW!!!! i'm so glad he got so many parts in the songs....like i said b4, ryoXtegoXshige is sucha weird combo, but definitely good

i think for the pacific album, they were able to more evenly split the lines between people. For instance, even though alibi was a shige/koyama song, you still hear tegomasu in the bg doing bg vocals.

personally i like pacific more because their songs are more mature and it really shows their growth and diversification and more like...'self-realization' of themselves as individual members of a group instead of just 'NEWS' or 'yamapi and news' (which a lot of ppl still say -0-' )

I do believe the last time yamapi sung lip-synced was last year in music station(2006.05.26 if i remember correctly) when he performed 'daite senorita' for the first time, he was so nervous that he messed up and dropped the mic(</////////3 it's so painful to watch x___X poor baby...he musta felt horrible :x ) and even tho he dropped it, the music kept going, so ppl could tell he was lip-syncing. otherwise it's somewhat hard to tell, but i've heard live versions of daite and most of the other songs they perform that i can tell when they're not singing live.

**however, the incident with yamapi on music station led Music Station to demand that performers on their show sing live from then on, so when NEWS goes onto music station (not sure about music fighter) they always sing live.

their concerts are obviously live, it'd be way too easy for the audience members to tell if they're not singing live
shounen club i'm not too sure about b/c i haven't seen those performances enough times, but it's probably split...some lip-synced, and some not.

Yamapi's voice is alright. I know Tegoshi+Masuda are the most well known for their voices, but in truth everyone has their own style to their voices that people find appealing in one way or another; what's most important is that they sound absolutely gorgeous singing together and in a capella <3

How can you guys tell if it's live or not? I find it hard to tell.. at least with dbsk, they use diff mics to differentiate (well lately anyways)

There are times when they sing live and they're pretty good, but other times when they sing it's.... just crap.
That's how you can tell. XD
Don't get me wrong, I love them and everything, but I remember during the 2005 MS live, Cherish just killed my ears. @__@

But I'm sure they have improved~ *watches the HwM acapella clip on MS again and again*
Now THAT was not lipsynching. :] And I think sometimes they switch on and off. XDD;; It's really hard to tell, but sometimes you're... just able to.

I'd... have to disagree. o.O I don't believe they can sing perfectly throughout the whole entire concert, I do believe that some parts are lipsynched and these people (somehow.. XDD) made it seem like it's "real" when it isn't. :T

LOL. I KNOW. Ai no matador has the most wicked lyrics. To be honest, it made me like the song more. At first I was like, hmm this is weird, but I started to actually listen to the lyrics and what I thought I heard sounded odd. So I looked it up, and sure enough XD
It's kind of hard to compare touch and pacific in the end really, because they're so different. (Yamapi gets too much attention sometimes. The others are just as talented, if not more -__-)

I laughed at it too, because although it may be embarrasing, you know, in the end they get over it, other things happen. And it was a little funny XD But all in good spirit. Because he did well to keep going. Lolll Kame. When he fell off stage that time o___o HAH. I laughed too much, evilly, at that. Because I didn't like Kame then. You can just tell. I mean. If it's not live it sounds EXACTLY the same as the recorded. And when it is live though, you hear even just slight differences in breathing, pitch etc. Because no one is ever perfect and I would be lame if it was the same anyway ^-^
