The University of Texas is a pretty good business school and it's a state university. You might have a good chance getting in there. =)

college is about luck. according to college counselors, i should have gotten into uci, ucsd (without too much problem), bc, and occidental. i got rejected from all of them...
don't freak out. just concentrate on what you're doing and see what happens in the future
(and you will go to college...there are many options. look into the claremont colleges for example)

i'm feeling stressed out about that, too.
i'm taking the sats on saturday...ahhh i don't know geometry. just go in with an open attitude.
i'm taking the acts, too. they're easier in my opinion haha. if you get a high scores on your tests, and your gpa isn't that high, admission officials i've talked to said the tests are held higher than gpa, since schools have different grading systems, etc. or at least that's what they said at the university of chicago
anyway, i know that the university of minnesota is really good in business degrees.

don't be overpressured by all the stats the schools give you. your current gpa is actually good enough to get into a lot of good schools (even ivy league schools).
don't dumb yourself down...and don't tell yourself that you can't do it. if you already think that way, how can you convince the admission office that you CAN be a great asset for their school?!
if you're interested in business major, check out some of the rankings for schools all over the country. then think about what you want out of the school of your dream & compare that with the profiles of the schools you're interested in going to...
if you're thinking about the UC's...consider berkeley, LA, and SD to be on the list...UCSD recently started their new business school (for post-undergrad), so i'm sure their curriculum will change for the better. i also have friends studying business up in LA & berkeley...their programs are also very competitive, so you'll definitely encounter some great curriculum courses there.
